Chapter 15

"Y/n!" Pouf suddenly opened the door, and he was shocked with what he saw.

On the ground was you and the King connected with each other. He knew what sex was, but he never expected the two of you to do it. Heck you were even naked in front of the King, which was something he would never forgive you for.

"Hmm? What is it?" You questioned as you looked up to him.

The way you acted like nothing happened between you and the King, irritates him even more. But that wasn't what he was here for, it was time to get rid of you once and for all.

"King-sama..." Pouf did his usual salute to show respect to his King, then turned his attention to you. "I just heard from one of my minions that someone took Pokkle away! I don't know who they were but they headed through the forest."

"Pokkle? Why didn't you go after them!" You quickly stood up and Pouf had to cover his eyes so he wouldn't see you naked. 

"My duty is to protect the King, not to go after your so called... friend." You didn't see the smirked at Pouf's face as he succeeded in hypnotizing you.

Meruem wanted to stop you, but seeing the desperation in your eyes on saving your friend stopped him from doing so. What's so special about this mushroom guy that you would immediately forgets about him?

He felt a pain in his chest as he watches you leave. He wished that you would stay by his side and just be with him but he knew you too well. 

"Hey you..." He trailed off while standing up and glaring at Pouf. "Clean this up."

The King walked past Pouf, who was hurt because his King didn't call him by his name, and he knew where the King was going.

"King-sama, I wouldn't recommend you to-" In a blink of an eye, Pouf was hit on the face with the King's tail.

"Do as you've told, don't make me repeat myself." The King warned and Pouf gritted his teeth.

"Yes King-sama." 

After the King left, Pouf stared at the white liquids and clenched his fist. What's so special about you that the King would go out his way just to make sure you are safe? Why do you get his attention the most and how can you... change him so much?

He just wished that the King won't make it in time to save you so that you will never have to mess with the King's mind again.

You ran into the forest of where Pouf had told me and looked for Pokkle.

"Pokkle!" You shouted and spun around to see any sign of him. "Pokkle!"

A strong presence suddenly appeared behind you, but you didn't dodge its attacks as you knew his attacks won't hit you. You looked behind and saw a big, ugly looking monster. It has long sharp teeth and tentacles. You looked at the monster and noticed that he was a Chimera.

"I have no time for you." You commented as you attacked the monster, killing it instantly. "Pokkle!"

"Y/n!" You quickly shot your head to the direction of Pokkle's voice and rushed towards him.

'Please be safe...' You thought.

"Pokkle!" You called out again and followed Pokkle's voice as he continued calling for you.

You soon made it to the cliff and saw another Chimera, holding Pokkle by his head.

"Y-Y/n..." 

"Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!" You questioned the Chimera and he just smirked at you.

He then moved Pokkle on the cliff and dropped him. You widened your eyes, not even thinking twice to jump after Pokkle and save him. You made a water cushion on the place the two of you were falling. Pokkle landed safely on it and you sigh in relief, but all of the sudden, the Chimera who dropped Pokkle attacked you. 

Since you use the water inside you to make the water cushion, you had no choice but to block the attack, causing you to fly 30 meters away and crashing onto a tree. The air in your lungs were knocked out by the impact and it took you a while before you can properly breath again.

You tasted the iron blood in your mouth and you glared at your attacker. He had this same smirked on his face while holding a lighter. He laughed wickedly as soon as he saw the realization on your face as he dropped the lighter on the ground.

Fire suddenly surrounded you and your attacker made sure that he dried up the ground you were in. Whoever they were, they knew your weaknesses. Without water inside your body or near you, you are totally useless.

"D-don't you know who I am? I am the fourth Royal Guards of the King!" You said as you wiped the blood from your mouth while standing up.

"Hehehe, I was told you were a fake Royal guard! You're just a mere human, pretending to be a Royal Guard! The King only favors you because you know how to play chess, then you asked him if you can be one of his guards to which he agreed! So I am not afraid of you, not if there aren't any water around you!" The Chimera started laughing.

You looked around if there was anywhere where you could acquire some water, but your attacker made sure that you won't be able to. It was getting hotter with each time that passes by and your sight is beginning to blur. Without any water, you are really completely defenceless.

The Chimera attacked you with a fire whip and you barely dodged it. The fire around you were slowly closing in and you felt your body weakening even more.

"Y/n!" You heard Pokkle and when you looked at his way, he shot one of his water arrow.

You were about to get the arrow, but a fire wall stopped it. 

"I should get rid of that kid first." The Chimera stated and you widened your eyes.

"Pokkle, run!" You shouted but it was too late.

The Chimera sent a fireball towards Pokkle and there wasn't much time for Pokkle to dodge it.
