Chapter 13

"Pokkle!" You called out for him and found him being chase by Cheetu outside the castle.

"Y/n, help!" He shouted as Cheetu hit him on the side.

"Is that all you had! I can do this all day but it's time to kill you! I will get a high reward when I turn you to the King!" Cheetu happily said.

You didn't waste any time, you appeared beside Pokkle and created a barrier as soon as Cheetu attacked him.

"Stop this instant!" You demanded.

"W-who are you! How dare you ruin my fun!" Cheetu complained and you released your En as well as your blood lust.

Cheetu was frozen on his spot as he understood what situation he was on.

"I am one of the Royal Guard of the King, how dare you disobey my orders." Your voice were filled with venom as you engulf Cheetu inside your menacing aura.

Cheetu fell and crawled backwards, feeling your intent kill almost shed his skin and tears were falling from his eyes. He faced you at the wrong timing as you've been having a bad day and you couldn't be bothered if Cheetu was one of the other Royal guard's minions, you just wanted to show him who's boss.

"I-i-i-I'm s-sorry..." Was all the words Cheetu could get out of.

He couldn't even speak properly from all the fear you had instilled in him.

"If I see you or anyone else hurt a single hair from my friend, I won't hesitate to kill you." You made sure that he got the message before you took Pokkle's hand and went inside the castle.

Even Pokkle was terrified of what you did that he regrets coming in that place. Although he was thankful that you came because if you didn't, then he might not have his head anymore. He was thankful that you at least became his ally as he knows for sure that if you didn't find him in that room, then he would have been made into a meatball.

Pitou and Pouf were alerted by your sudden release of En, heck they were even a little bit scared when they felt your bloodlust that they were curious on who might have crossed with you. Though as long as it's not the King, then they are relieved to have you by their side. 

Not that they ever think you would actually kill the King since all you've been doing this time was save him.

On the other side however, the King had witnessed everything. He wondered why could Pokkle make you feel this way when you've just met him. He wondered why you would go out all the way just to protect him. He wondered what makes Pokkle so special that you would even go against him, the King of all Chimera ants.

He finds you intriguing and he couldn't understand why you, out of everyone, piques his interest so much. And that kiss earlier, what made it so special to the point it made him think about you all the time. Was that part of your Nen or what?

The more he thinks the more he wants to find out more about it. He is the King, he shouldn't feel this sort of feelings towards one of his subjects so what makes you different from others? Different? Maybe that's what it was.

From the day you were born you were already different from anybody else. You didn't obey him, the purpose that everyone had wasn't instilled in your system and you just do whatever you want. Yes, you're different and that's why he was more interested in you than anybody else. 

"By the way, what the hell were you doing back there? You could had gotten yourself killed if I didn't appear!" You yelled at Pokkle.

"I-I'm sorry, I just didn't like how we ended things earlier and I wanted to apologize to you." Pokkle replied and this somehow made you feel better. "I know you heard what me and Ponzu had talked about, I just want to clear everything and tell you that I don't see you as a... monster."

You don't know why but what Pokkle said made your eyes teary. You felt emotions that you haven't felt before. All the mixed feelings you felt before came crashing down and you couldn't help yourself but cry.

Pokkle didn't know what to do, all he could offer you was his embrace, in which this made you feel somewhat... comforting. It's like a heavy weight on your shoulder has been lifted.

"Thank you... Pokkle..." You cried in his arms and he stroke your hair.

"That's what are friends for." Pokkle stated.

After you've calmed down, you and Pokkle talked about a lot of stuff. You've learnt so many things from him, how the human works and how you want to try them. Especially this new thing you've just discovered which was... sex.

"So when two creatures do it with each other, they feel this... pleasure and it's the most amazing feeling ever?" Your eyes were filled with wander as you asked this from Pokkle.

He wasn't sure how this topic suddenly came to life, you guys were just in the library, and you somehow discovered a book about Human desires and now you want to know more about it. 

Pokkle wasn't really comfortable talking about this but to see you pushing the subject further, he tried his best explaining what you wanted to know.

"It's best to do it on the person you love the most, that's when you will experience it best. Of course it had to be the opposite gender as you." Pokkle said and you went closer to him.

"Then should I do it with you?" You questioned and Pokkle became flustered.

"E-eh! N-no! I mean, it doesn't work that way!" Pokkle replied and you pouted.

"You said it had to be the opposite gender, maybe I should go ask Pouf." You said as you quickly stand up.

"N-no Y/n! It has to be the person who makes you feel different! The person you love!" Pokkle tried to clear the misunderstanding, so you smiled at him.

"Then the King it is!" You exclaimed as you disappeared from Pokkle's sight.

"What have I done?" Pokkle questioned himself as he just realized how innocent you were.
