Scott watched Allison as she stood dead in her track, a few feet ahead of him, her heart rate completely out of control, her chest going up and down quickly, and her breathing was picking up speed. As he watched her cover her mouth with her trembling hands, everything started to slow down, and everyone started to sound so distant. And as Scott watched his wife let herself fall to the ground reaching out in front of her, he knew something was wrong, terribly wrong. He found his feet moving and heading towards Allison, in fact he was running. Lydia and Stiles breath caught in their throats, seeing the sudden fear grow in Scott's eyes and the weakness start to crawl in Allison's eyes. And then the realization gut Lydia like a brick, she hadn't heard Melony once, or seen her. She ran to the cells, dragging a startled Stiles behind her as she forgot he had been holding her hand. When Lydia looked inside, her chest tightened and she squeezed Stiles hand for she saw a small trail of blood leading to another doorway.

"Stiles, look." Lydia gasped as she walked along the trail and looked back at Stiles with fear.

"We don't know that's hers," he said as he read her mind. Lydia shook her head, and closed her eyes.

"But it is," she whispered. "I have to go," Lydia said as she started to run down the trail and disappeared down the hallways.

"Lydia," Stiles shouted after her, his heart starting to race as he took off after her. Scott watched his best friend race after Lydia. He saw the genuine concern in Stiles eyes and Scott couldn't help but feel a panic rise in him.

"Allison," Scott cleared his throat and raised and eyebrow as he got closer. She looked back, her eyes hinting red, tears coming out slowly. Scott took a step closer and he saw his worse nightmare becoming a reality. His baby boy lying on a cold cement floor, blood surrounding him, his once tan skin now pale, sweat dripping, his lips chapped, and his big brown eyes now refusing to open. Before Scott knew it, he was sinking to his knees, closing in the space between his only child and himself. Allison looked over at him and her lips started to quiver.

"Scott- he- his- his pulse," Allison started to stumble with her words as she held on to Damon's cold hand. "His pulse is very low," Allison started to break down. "I need to get him out of here, I need to take him to a hospital. We need to go!" She started to shout.

"No," Scott found himself saying, a state of shock fell over Allison's face. "I-I" he mumbled as he tried to gather his thoughts together. "I need to help Lydia." He finally said. Allison shook her head in disbelief.

"This is our child Scott," Allison shouted, squeezing the boys hand a little harder.

"And that's hers!" Scott snapped back, his nostrils flaring up. Allison gasped and looked at Scott like as if he was a stranger. "Allison, I'm-" Scott started as he realized his mistake.

"You know what," Allison cut him off, her voice started to go soft but her anger could still be seen from a mile away. "You're right," she said as she nodded her head and looked back down at Damon, carefully putting her arms around him, placing a hand on his wound and picking him up, turning to face Scott.

"What are you doing?" Scott asked, panic rising in him.

"Just go help out your pack," Allison snapped at him in a cold voice. "I'm taking our son to get help." She said as she pushed past Scott. Scott turned and watched the love of his life walk away with their son who was in critical condition. And in that moment Scott had to make a choice, a very important one, help and put his son out of harms way, or find Stiles and Lydia and help his pack save and bring back a child. And as Scott looked at both doorways, torn between the two, he heard the scream of a banshee. And just like that, he was off, running towards his pack.
