For the next few hours, maria told Wukong and macaque all about her adventures in the high sea. making them gasp, laugh and ooh at her tale.
"Wait, wait. . . so you're telling me the demon captain tried to summon a kraken?" Wukong asked in disbelief.
"Not tried, he DID!" maria explained "but the idiot tried to control it which ended badly for him cause the kraken turned on him and attacked his ship! it broke their ship in half before dragging it into the ocean! it was awesome but so terrifying to see"
"Then what happened? did you guys' escape?" Macaque asked
"No way! the Kraken then turned to attack us! " She exclaimed scaring them.
"NO WAY!!"
"Yes way!" she said "the kids were freaking out and the jets were busted so I told everyone to quiet down and step away from the edge as the tentacles slowly climbed up the ship and once they were at their peak, I yelled fire!! and all the cats fired cannoned nd laser, injuring the Kraken for the moment. it retreated back into the depths, but I knew it wasn't over, not by a long shot!" maria said dramatically making Wukong gasp loudly.
"So, I had everyone grab their weapons and told them to focus on cutting down any and all tentacles! that this beast will know not to mess with our family!" she said holding up her sword.
"Oooh~" Wukong whispered in awe while Macaque smiles.
"Then. . .. . IT ATTACKED!!!" she yelled scaring them "it jumped out of the water, half of its body on the ship, it mouths roaring in our faces with its disgusting fangs everywhere! Sandy started punching. Mei swung her sword while Mk summoned his clones, all of them attacking and I with my pistol and Sword! we battled the mighty beast for what seemed like hours, the damn thing didn't look like it was slowing down at all! and we were beginning to lose energy" she said narrowing her eyes to the sky.
"Then what?!" the monkeys asked in suspense
"I figured that t only way to kill the beast . . . was by attacking its heart from the inside so. . . . with my sword in hand, my hat on my head and courage in my heart. . .. I leapt into the mouth of the kraken as it roared!" she yelled
"WOAH!!!!" they yelled in shock.
"Inside of it was slimy and soooooo disgusting but I travelled through it body before reaching the heart and with warrior yell, I stabbed the monsters heart! its roar of anguish echoed all around me before the silence followed, I knew. . . . we won" she finished.
"That sounds. . . . . AWESOME!! I bet you would've ruled the pirate era peaches!" Wukong praised.
"Aw thanks Sun, I think I would've ruled any era if possible" she said rubbing her nose with confidence.
