Crashes and booms sounded off in the distance within the darkness of the mind. the only source of light was that of the two ice cages facing each other. Bai he was leaning against her cage watching With Confusion as Mama Mai sat crossed legged in the middle of her own prison, she was. . . . calm, collected and didn't even look worried or even scared, but what worried Bai He was the fact that maria wasn't even trying to escape she was just . . . meditating.
"Mama Mari?" Bai he called out to her. Maria hums softly, tilting her head toward her to show she was listening "Why aren't you fighting back? aren't you scared? worried? why don't you try to get out?"
Maria hums tilting her head side to side "because my sweet Little lily. . . the bone demon is weak. . . she's focusing all her energy in trying to keep me under control. . . but the jokes on her. . . she's not strong enough to hold me down . . . . not by a long shot" she explained with a chuckle.
"But if that's true, why don't you escape?" bai he asked confused.
"Because. . . I need to give my family a chance to think of a plan and fight back" she said shifting her position to look at the young girl. "the bone demon is quite powerful that's true. . . but she's reaching her limits now. . she won't be able to keep us here for long Bai he. . . trust me. . . we'll be free soon"
Bai he nods softly still a little confused though "Then what do we do mama Mari?"
Maria smiles and stands walking over to the edge of the cage she reaches out and gently pats her head "We wait a little longer. . . and when the moment is right. . . we strike when she least suspects it" she explained, her tone becoming demon-esque as her eyes shine red for a moment with a wicked smile on her lip.
bai he instead of being scared smiled widely 'Wow. . . . Mama Mari is so cool~' she thought, giggling as she enjoyed the head pats.
"So don't you worry so much little lily. . . . we are getting out of here soon. . . I can feel it" maria said with a sweet motherly smile as she sits back down on the ground, crossing her legs and cupping her hands she goes back to mediating until the moment strike comes.

"NNNGGGGHH!!" Mk groaned afraid as slowly his mother's fist got closer and closer to hitting him. he closes his eyes preparing for the pain, but it never came as Macaque rushed in, grabbing Marias hand in his as he pushed them back away from Mk.
Wukong catches him and sets him back down on the ground "Stay here bud, we'll handle your mother" he tells him as he keeps an eye on macaque and Maria, waiting for an opening to attack when needed.
