Tucker continues trying to calm Wash down. With words about his dreams and nightmares. Wash just looks more and more upset. The anger boiling in him with every breath. Tucker pleads with him, trying to get him to calm down.
"It's not him Wash it's not him! Please Wash listen to me!!! It's not in your head! It's not The Meta. Hargrove brought Alpha back to mess with us!"
"Tucker get behind me"
"Listen to me Wash it's Alpha!"
Alpha tries to figure out which option is better. Outing himself or staying silent and letting Tucker handle it for him. Alpha can't just let Tucker be by himself though. He makes to speak up. Tries to before the freelancer in front of attacks the two of them. With bated breath, he lets the tension go from his shoulders and slouches forward so he can speak to Wash. Wash watches on silent for the past moment of so. As Church begins explaining he can hear a sob. Tucker goes to Wash's side immediately. Alpha figures the dream and nightmares Tucker was talking about earlier haunt the man with force. Tucker seems like he's done this so many times before it. Alpha wonders just how much of his men's life he had missed. Alpha wondered how much Wash had changed. Last time he was around, he remembers him being kind of a push over unless he wanted something.
Still the thought of missing so much of their lives upset him. Tucker still seemed relatively the same, but a new caring nature accompanied him. The drastic change in personality sending him for a loop as he watched a hunched over Wash being lead out of the room by Tucker. Alpha followed farther behind the two. He wasn't exactly sure where to go or if he should even be following the two. Seeing as how it was the best option for him at the moment, he followed none the less.
The hallways became less and less exciting with every turn. Tucker and Wash twisting down corridors they knew by heart. Alpha felt out of place, out of touch with the new life they had. It wasn't the canyon and it wasn't the base he lived in by himself, nor was it the head he had holed himself up in. This was new, it was different, and his family seemed a lot happier here with Wash and Carolina than they ever did with him. Tucker looked more at ease, Wash looked content being held by him, Tucker's argument with Carolina even seemed to be lacking the anger she seemed to carry in her stance. It really seemed so out of place for him here.
As he followed Tucker and Wash down the corridor wallowing in self pity, the sudden scamper of big feet hit his ears. Alpha's head perked up at that, he knew that sound anywhere. The dark blue soldier running towards him with the speed of a bull. He wasn't expecting Caboose literally jump in his arms though. The force knocking him back for a slight moment. Caboose taking to holding on as tight as he could. Alpha stumbled with the weight of the other man and finally settled on wrapping his arms around the other simply because he didn't want to fall over, don't read more into it than you should, Alpha told the voice inside his head. The familiarity that came with seeing the other man was amazing. The love Caboose had for him was always surprising no matter how many times he showed it.
"You never said goodbye"
"I know buddy I'm so sorry"
"Ok so hugging Caboose is fine, but you can't tell me you missed me? What is that about?" Tucker complained.
"Do you want a hug as well Tucker?"
"Maybe" was his grumbled reply. Alpha noticed the look he gave Wash. He also noted Wash's nod at him. The thing that was totally not jealousy, was bothering him again. The sinking feeling could be felt in his artificial bones. Still Tucker removed his arm from Wash and walked over. It was a shy walk but it grew in strength as he went on.
Alpha took him in his arms, Caboose still clinging to him like a monkey. Tucker didn't hold on for long. He was probably worried about Alpha would say and he hates that he's made his friends feel that way. Tucker's posture seemed to be lighter, to carry less weight on himself. Alpha looked at Wash, the man still seemed troubled but he looked a bit better as well. Tucker was quick to get the move on again. Caboose still clung to him but he could still walk and that was good? He guessed.
The walk didn't take much longer and Tucker lead them to a building that was much busier. They kept on till they got to a room with a tan soldier with blue accents, Carolina, and another soldier who had white armor and yellow accents. The tan one and Carolina were arguing in hushed tone while the white one would interject with an obtrusive accent.
There was another worried voice that accompanied the others though. A smaller voice that sounded like his own. Then the memory flashes started happening again. Alpha could see something blue come up over Carolinas shoulder. If he wasn't suffering from a massive headache at the moment he would like to believe that it was real. The splitting headache on the other hand was a master at making things seem unreal. The smaller blue thing above Carolina copying his actions to the point.
"Alpha's memories are trying to merge. His conciseness can tell that Epsilon is here." Wash provided.
Caboose still clinging to his armor removed himself and walked towards Carolina. He stood in front of Epsilon. He asked him to go to Church so he could be whole again and then they could play all the best friend games they wanted to. Alpha didn't know if he should take that as kind or not. Either way the loud shriek of "NOO" didn't help his head. Carolina joined in saying she wasn't going to give Epsilon up, as she needed him to run her armor.
"Carolina Alpha can help you run your armor"
"Absolutely not Wash, we don't know how he would react to being brought together, we don't even know how he got here! How do we even know he's not a spy! Look who- look at- that's Maine's armor Wash. Do you expect me to so easily agree to something that stupid. How do you know he won't kill us all after what we did to him?"
"Carolina that wasn't us, you can't blame yourself forever"
"You don't understand Wash, you all were my team, and I let you down"
"I hate to break up the fight but what's wrong with our dear Epsilon" The white one provided.
Epsilon was glowing red, clutching his head and trying to stand up. He let out a scream hit his head again."I don't want to be apart of him!!!"
