A week later ♕

Malia is still heartbroken over her father's death and she hasn't been as energetic as she usually is. I would try to cheer her up by taking her out everyday after school with the twins but nothing seems to work. I just hope she goes back to being my energetic little baby.

Right now Malia's sitting down on a stool against the counter watching Michelle & Miya play outside.

"What's wrong baby? Don't you want to go out and play?" I questioned her bending down to her level.

She shook her head no before turning around in the stool.

"I miss daddy and I never really got to see him when he was alive." She said in a voice that almost made me want to cry.

"I know and I'm so sorry baby." I replied back hugging her small body from behind.

A few years dropped out of her eyes before she got off of the stool and ran off.

"Don't worry baby she'll come around." Trey spoke from behind me making me jump slightly.

I turned around to look at him.

"I'm not sure if she'll ever come around. I feel like I should've gave her more time with her father instead of keeping her away from him. I was being a bad mother." I explained to him staring at the ground and playing with my shirt which hid my huge belly.

Trey walked over to me and brought my head up by my chin.

"Don't ever say that you're a bad mother! You were doing what you had to do to protect Malia. Don't forget how he almost ran all of us over." He snapped pulling me into his arms and kissing my forehead.

I nodded my head agreeing.

"I know." I said as tears ran out of my eyes.

I quickly wiped them chuckling a little bit.

"This pregnancy got me bringing out the water works every damn second." I stated making both Trey and I laugh.

"Damn I love you." Trey said letting out the most adorable laugh ever.

I giggled as I looked up at him.

"I love you more baby." I mumbled before leaning up and kissing him passionately.

"If it makes you feel any better how about I spend a day with Malia?" Trey asked.

I nodded my head. "That sounds great! Maybe it'll make her feel better so she won't be so sad anymore. I miss my baby." I pouted poking out my lips.

"Good we'll go somewhere tomorrow but right now I think I wanna spend some time with my wife." Trey spoke making me blush a little.

We heard giggles and we looked over to see Michelle and Miya watching us.

"What are you two staring at?" Trey asked goofily while making funny faces at them.

They both giggled. "nothing." They replied in unison.

"Where's Malia?" Michelle asked as she looked at the stool.

"She's probably up in her room. Can you guys go and cheer her up for me?" I questioned them with a smile.

They both nodded their heads before running off yelling Malia's name.

"I love them girls. I just hope that they'll be mine forever." Trey said whispering the last part but I heard him.

"What?" I asked turning to look at him.

"Nothing."
