Two weeks later....

It's been two weeks since I took Shante to the doctor's so she could have her baby. So far she has been doing fine and with her being out of the hospital she's been on her own. I've been visiting her a lot and we actually have become great friends. Trey on the other hand has been acting strange for the past two weeks. He has been with the girls non stop since we went to the hospital and it's like he has been ignoring me the whole time. I honestly don't know what's going on with him and it's making me upset.

I locked the car door once I got out of it from driving the kids to school.

It was nice to get out of the house for a second because I've gotten bigger and the doctor says that I don't really need to be on my feet.

Once I unlocked the front door I made my way inside the house.

"Trey!" I called out from the kitchen.

I didn't hear a sound.

I sighed as I wobble around the house to find him.

I have to find out what's going on and in order for me to do that we need to talk.

I was actually surprised to find Trey on the couch passed out with a bowl of chips in his lap.

I went over to where he was laying , took the bowl , and sat it on the table.

"Trey , wake up!" I said shaking him a little.

He groaned before turning over so his back was towards me.

"Girl lemme alone." He mumbled making me get angry.

"Trey , if you don't wake your ass up!" I snapped smacking his arm hard.

"Ow damn it Diana!" He yelled rubbing his arm and opening his eyes.

He got up so he was facing me as I sat beside him.

"What do you want?" He asked irritated that I woke him up.

I don't know if it's the hormones or I'm just crazy but I busted out full blown crying.

"You have been treating me like crap for the past few weeks." I cried out with tears falling fast down my face.

Trey had a guilty look on his face as he wrapped me in his arms.

"Aww baby I didn't mean to make you upset." Trey said kissing my forehead.

I shook my head.

"Whatever." I mumbled pushing him back.

"No, I'm serious. I didn't mean to make you upset." Trey repeated grabbing my hands.

"What's going on with you Trey?" I asked wiping the tears out of my eyes.

"My brother's back." He told me.

"Forrest?" I questioned already knowing the answer.

"Yeah." Trey mumbled rubbing his head.

I haven't seen Forrest since we were younger. I wonder what ever happened between him and Trey because Trey doesn't like to talk about him a lot.

"Well isn't that a good thing?" I questioned him with a eyebrow raised.

"Not when he wants to take the twins back." Trey said looking off into space.

Knowing Trey he's probably not gonna want him to take the twins back because he loves those little girls but to me it seems like a good choice. The twins are his daughters and he should be able to take them back. That's not fair that the twins will never be able to be around their real dad.

"Trey if he wants his daughters back you should give them to him." I replied back honestly.

He look at me in shock.

"Hello no. I'm not giving them to him!" Trey yelled getting angry.

I held my hands up in surrender.

"Calm down baby. That's their real father. You can't just keep his kids away from him and it's also not fair to them." I explained to him.

"Diana I took care of them like they're my own so they are mine. He abandoned them." Trey argued back trying to get me to see his point of view.

I nodded my head in understanding.

"Let him get the chance to be a father to the girls. If he really didn't care about them he wouldn't have came back. Now I'm not gonna argue with you over this so just think about what I've been saying." I stated before getting up , kissing his cheek , and walking out of the room.

I understand completely what Trey is saying but it's not fair to Forrest or the girls that they won't be spending time with each other. I love the twins just as much as he do but they need their father in their life. It's better that Forrest gets the girls now then when they're older.

I might as well go get some sleep since the girls are gone otherwise I won't get any when they're here.

I made my way to our bedroom , stripped out of my clothes , and climbed into bed.

This baby has been making me extra tired.

I was almost fast asleep when I felt the bed shift a little causing me to open my eyes.

I didn't have to turn to look as I felt Trey's arms wrap around me.

"I know you don't think it's the right decision but I can't let them girls go not until I can fully trust him again at least." Trey said making me smile a little.

"That's a good choice Mr. Neverson." I told him.

"Well you made me think of it Mrs. Neverson." He said before kissing my neck.

"What are you doing?" I asked giggling a little as he continued to kiss all over me.

"I'm tryna get a little nasty."
