"What are you doing here?" I asked my brother pulling him off to the side making sure to keep a eye on Malia.

"I'm here with my fiancé and my new born son." Forrest told me pointing over to his family.

I nodded my head. "You have a son and a fiancé?" I questioned looking over at them with a smile.

He nodded his head. "Yeah but that's not the reason I came over here to talk to you." He mentioned making me raise my eyebrow.

My brother and I never really got along when we were younger. He's the younger brother that use to always get in trouble and I would be blamed for it. He got caught up in something a couple of years ago before the twins were born and he left them with me. The twins barely know him due to the fact that he was only around them until they were three when he left them with me.

"Why did you come over to talk to me?"
I asked slightly angry that he didn't want to talk to me.

I mean he has been gone for a while and he hasn't even tried to come into contact with me.

"I came to talk about the twins. I want them back." He said surprising me a little.

"You want them back?" I asked again like I didn't hear him the first time.

I've had the girls for four and half years. To hear that he wants them back breaks my heart because I've grown attached to them and I feel like they're my own daughters.

"Yeah." He said sternly.

"Well I'm sorry but I'm not giving them back." I told him before walking away.

He grabbed my arm making me snatch it back.

"What do you mean your not giving me my damn daughters back! They're mine!" He snapped angrily getting into my face.

I pushed him back hard. "Don't forget that I'm the older and stronger brother and I meant exactly what I said. You're not getting them back. You've been gone most of their life and you choose now to come get them! They're staying with me and there's nothing you can do about that." I snapped back before going back to Malia.

We'll see about that." I heard Forrest call from behind me.

I shook my head.

"What's going on? Why did you push that man?" Malia questioned with a very confused look on her face.

"Don't worry about it sweetie lets just go look at some more animals." I told her forcing a smile onto my face.

"Okay." She said smiling innocently.

I dumped the rest of her food , grabbed her hand , and we headed off into the opposite direction of my brother.

♕ Diana's POV

"Okay girls I'll be right back." I told the twins getting up to answer the door.

"Okay." They replied back at the same time still focused on their homework.

After wobbling over to the door I answered it.

"Shante what are you doing here?" I questioned looking at her face which has a sad expression on it.

"Diana I'm not here to cause any trouble but I just need someone to talk too." She replied back.

I nodded my head and opened up the door for her to walk in.

She wobbled into the door making me chuckle a little bit.

"What?" She questioned turning around.

"We have the same walk." I mentioned with a smile on my face.

She laughed a little and I led her to the living room where we sat on the couches.

"So what's on your mind?" I motioned for her to talk.

"I'm just so heartbroken that Dante died. What am I going to do without him here?" She said with a tear slipping out of her eye.

I got up and sat next to her on the couch.

"I know things must really be hard for you but girl you have to stay strong for your baby and everyone else around you." I explained to her grabbing her hand for comfort.

"But I don't really have no one else. My parents died in a car crash a few years ago, I'm a only child , and I have no other family. I'm all alone and Dante was the only person I had." She cried out tears now cascading down her face.

I nodded my head in understanding.

For a while I knew what it was like to be lonely too. I only had my mother growing up , she got sick and passed. I lived with my old friend Armani before I married Dante and we built our lives together.

Before I could console her I seen water spill out of her.

"Um Shante..."

"What?" She asked looking up at me.

"I think your water just broke."
