"Hmmmm Trey stop." Forrest mimicked me making the rest of his cousins laugh.

I looked at Trey and mean mugged him.

"I thought you said they wouldn't hear us!" I snapped smacking his arm.

"I mean we don't have sound proof rooms baby." He said cracking a goofy smile.

I rolled my eyes. "You might want to buy some more lotion because you're not getting any in a while." I told Trey making everyone bust out laughing.

I shook my head before walking into the kitchen.

"Everyone the food is done!" April called making everyone rush into the kitchen behind me.

I smacked my lips at how greedy the men are being.

"Kids first." I reminded them.

"Y'all heard her, kids first." Nathan said pushing all the dudes out of the way.

"Nathan your ass practically a grown man. You have to wait too." Nina stated handing me a paper plate to fill with Malia's favorites.

I chuckled before stacking Malia's plate high with her favorite foods.

I'm so happy she eats all her food now instead of wasting it like she usually does.

"Malia come on it's time to eat." I yelled out heading outside to the kid's table.

She ran behind me as I sat her plate on the table.

"I want Michelle and Miya to sit next to me!" She demanded pointing to the empty spots next to her.

"They're coming Malia." I assured her as I watched her fold her hands over her chest.

I know she is not pouting.

After a couple of seconds Nina brought out Michelle and Miya.

"There are you happy now?" I asked Malia.

She nodded her head. "Yes ma'am." She said making me giggle.

I walked off and let them enjoy their meal as they talked about random stuff.

When I walked into the kitchen most of the food was gone.

"Damn it look like a tornado just came through here." I said making Nina laugh.

"I think Trey saved you a plate." She told me picking up her plate and walking into the dining room.

I followed after her and seen everyone sitting at the long table.

I took my seat next to Trey and he simultaneously put his hand onto my thigh.

"Thank you for saving me a plate baby." I whispered in his ear kissing his cheek.

He smiled showing his dimples.

"Anything for my future wife." He stated winking at me.

"Awwww look at my babies." April cooed as Trey kissed my nose gently.

I blushed before lifting up my fork to put macaroni in my mouth.

"Don't you dare start eating. We have to bless our food!" April snapped sternly giving me her evil eye.

I nodded my head and immediately put down my fork.

"Now hold hands." April instructed.

We all did what we were told. When Trey grabbed my hand he interlocked our fingers and he kissed the back of my hand.

"For this and all we are about to receive, make us truly grateful, Lord. Through Christ we pray. Amen.." She blessed the food.

Simultaneously we all said "Amen."

After that everyone dug straight into their meals. Occasionally someone would say something to have the whole table cracking up or they would bring something up about the past.

"Trey remember when you had those funky ass cornrows?" Forrest asked before busting out laughing.

April smacked his head. "Watch your mouth at my dinner table." She warned giving him a straight face.

"Yes ma'am." Forrest said salty sulking in his chair like a little kid.

Trey began to tease him while April was turned away from him.

"And Trey if you don't stop teasing your brother." She said snapping her head towards Trey.

Embarrassingly Trey nodded his head making me laugh.

"Y'all some little kids." Nina said making us both laugh.

"A kid wouldn't be engaged to the most beautiful young lady he has ever seen now would he?" Trey asked with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes trying to hide my blush. "Yeah, yeah whatever." I replied back waving him off.

"Y'all just too much. All flirting and stuff at the dinner table. Nobody wanna hear all that." Nathan said pretending to barf.

"I know that's right." Tavon , one of Trey's other cousins agreed with him.

"Don't hate." Forrest said making Trey agree with him.

"One day y'all gonna find some young breezies to settle down with." Trey said in a mocking tone.

"Breezies?" Tavon and Nathan looked at each before busting out laughing.

"Y'all so old." Tavon said through his laughter.

It feels good to have the room filled with laughter and everyone enjoying their time together. I feel like I'm finally apart of a big family and it feels wonderful.
