Chapter 18

Once the girls laughter came out from the front door Forrest stood to his feet with the biggest smile on his face.

"Trey, where are you?" Diana's voice ranged out through out the house.

"We're in the living room. Bring the twins in here." I told her.

I heard a bunch of foot steps until Diana , Malia , and the twins came into the room.

Forrest smile grew bigger once he seen Michelle and Miya enter the room.

Diana sent a smile towards Forrest and I.

"Hey Forrest I'm Diana , Trey's girlfriend , it's nice to meet you." Diana introduced herself walking up to him and holding out her hand.

"It's nice to meet you Diana. You're very beautiful and congrats on the baby." Forrest shook her hand and rubbed her belly a little bit.

"Thank you. That's my daughter Malia over there." Diana replied back pointing to Malia.

Malia shyly waved.

"Hey gorgeous." Forrest waved at her making Malia smile.

I went over and stood behind Michelle and Miya.

I walked them over so they're now standing in front of Forrest.

I honestly don't know how to explain this to them but they've always known that I wasn't their real father.

"Michelle and Miya I would like for you guys to meet your real father Forrest." I introduced them to each other.

Michelle smiled as she looked up at him.

"Hi dad." She said before giggling.

I guess it's kind of weird for them to be finding out someone else is there dad.

Miya just smiled and hid behind Michelle.

Forrest smiled and bended down so he was close to their height.

"I can't believe how much you two have grown. I remember when you guys were just baby's and weren't even able to talk. I'm sorry for not being in your lives and I promise I'll make it up to you both." Forrest told them with tears coming out of his eyes.

From the look on the girls faces you can tell that they understood everything.

"Don't cry!" Miya exclaimed hurrying up and wiping his tears.

Forrest chuckled before holding his arms out for a hug.

The twins hugged him at the same time while giving him a kiss on his cheek.

Even though I didn't want him to have his kids back in the first place I feel like they belong with him. It's such a beautiful sight to see them back together with smiles on their faces.

"Do you know which one is which?" Michelle asked switching spots with Miya on purpose.

"Of course I do. You're Michelle and you're Miya." Forrest told them pointing at the correct person.

Michelle and Miya giggled.

"How do you know?!" Miya exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Well when Michelle was a little girl she use to cry a lot so we automatically thought that she would be the one to talk a lot which I'm right aren't I." Forrest asked looking up at me.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Yup Michelle talks a lot and Miya on the other hand barely talks." I stated.

"Haha you use to be a cry baby." Miya joked gently pushing Michelle.

"Shut up. That's why you stopped wetting the bed last year." Michelle responded back sticking her tongue out making Miya pout.

Forrest laughed at how the girls interacted.

"Trey I hope this is not too much to ask for but I was wondering if I could take the girls out for some fun." Forrest asked me standing up.

I scratched the back of my head unable to say yeah.

Anything could go wrong if he had them by hisself.

"I don't know ma-"

"Yeah sure. Just bring them back around seven they have school tomorrow." Diana butted in making us turn towards her.

Forrest nodded his head.

"Are you fine with that Trey?" Forrest asked wanting to get my consent.

I shrugged. "Sure, just make sure they're safe." I replied back.

"They're always safe with me. Come on girls." Forrest said picking up both of the girls.

The girls giggled.

"Bye." They both said waving at us.

"Bye girls. Have fun." Diana waved at the girls as Forrest left the room.

After a couple of seconds we heard the door open and close.

I sighed before rubbing my hand over my head.

"I hope nothing goes wrong." I told Diana before sitting down on the couch.

"Malia go get ready to get in the tub." Diana told Malia.

"Okay mom." Malia replied back before skipping off.

"Oh hush Trey. The girls are in great care. They're with their father." Diana explained to me sitting down and laying her head on my chest.

"I know but those girls mean so much to me. I don't want him taking them back and then they're gonna forget all about me." I told her looking out into space.

"Boy please. Those girls love you and they'll never forget about you plus you'll always be able to visit them." Diana told me.

I nodded my head in understanding.

I feel like a father giving up his children right now.

"I gotta let them go sometime."

"Yeah and we're gonna have a lot to deal with when this baby comes." Diana said rubbing her stomach.

"You know what Diana?" I asked her looking down at her.

"What?" She asked her.

"I love you so fucking much." I replied back kissing her forehead.

She blushed turning bright red.

"I love you more." She replied back leaning up and giving me a kiss on the lips.

I don't know what I would do without her. She's my rock , my rib , my right hand. My heart.
