Just a couple of more weeks and I'll be saying "I do" to the love of my life. Watching her sleep always makes me think of all the good times we've had. Being with her has made me a better man and I'm lucky to have her in my life.

I continued to play with the curly tendrils she has laying against my arm. She began to move a little making it easy to slid her onto the other side of the bed so I could check on the kids.

First, I went to Malia's room where I seen her and the girls sprawled out inside of the room. The girls officially stay with Forrest but they're just sleeping over for now. I honestly do miss the girls a lot but I know what I did was right. He belongs with them and he has been a great father so far. Malia hasn't been the same since they left but I think the sleepovers help. She was connected to them just as much as I was.

I quietly closed the door before going over to the baby's room which is right across from ours. 

I peeked into the room to see he had his head propped up and was wiggling his legs.

"Looks like someone is up early." I said walking over to his crib.

He made a noise as he looked up at me.

Little man right here is a blessing.

I picked him up gently wrapping my hand around his tiny waist.

"You must be hungry little man." I said as he started crying a little bit.

I carried him all the way downstairs to fix him a bottle.

"Alright here man." I said taking his bottle out from the microwave.

I gave it to him and he instantly starting sucking on the bottle.

"Dang man, you must've been starving." I said chuckling a little.

He just continued to stare into space as he sucked on his bottle.

"Good morning." I heard Diana say as she walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning baby." I stated kissing her cheek.

"What are you guys doing up so early?" She asked playing with Baby Tremaine's fingers.

"Couldn't sleep. All I could think about was you." I told her honestly.

She blushed like I knew she would.

There's just something about her smile and the looks she gives me makes me feel special. I feel like she was made especially for me.

"Thank you." She stated catching me off guard.

"For what?" I asked her confused a little.

"For being such a great man and loving me even when I could've cost you your life." She mentioned making me shake my head.

"You don't have to thank me for nothing. I'm suppose to be a great man to you and my family. You didn't almost cost me my life. Just leave that in the past baby because I'll be around forever." I told her.

She nodded her head and turned towards Tremaine.

"The wedding is coming up soon...I'm really excited." She said picking up Tremaine and putting his bottle in the sink once he finished it.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Me too. I can't wait until you're my wife for real now." I stated making her giggle.

Even before I proposed to her , I always considered her my wife. We've known each other so long we might as well be married. The first time I saw her I knew she was gonna be something special that's why it wasn't a accident when I threw that football at her. She may have ended up with a slight concussion but in the end it was worth it.

"Where do you wanna go on our honeymoon? It can be anywhere." I asked her.

"I haven't even thought about that at all." She said honestly looking like she was deep in thought.

"Well I'll give you time to think about it." I replied back to her.

"Good, because it's probably gonna take a week or two to figure out where I wanna go. I'm so indecisive."
