In broad daylight there I see,
A woman who's bright as can be.
Walking to the shore on bare feet,
Wondering how deep is the sea?
One afternoon there she was,
Sitting on a blanket and holding a glass.
Drinking her wine, breathing with ease,
Watching afar and seemed pleased.
As night took over,
There she was, walking alone on shore.
Walking as far, not to be bothered,
And doing her best to sober.
Rustling waves, whistling wind,
Her patience growing thin,
Trying not to succumb to sin,
Out on a dangerous whim.
She had to go, or so she said,
But on her way, she lost herself.
And in a blink of an eye she was gone unseen,
Just disappeared like dust in the wind.
Another blink, she's in a cave,
Crying her heart out, to be saved.
She knelt and yelled and pleaded,
Begging the gods to hear her screams.
Dawn came and she wiped her tears,
Stood up and felt the warmth of the ocean breeze.
She heard the waves loud and clear,
"Embrace the light and let go of fear"
