The day of the party had arrived, and the venue was beautifully decorated for the success celebration.

Outside the venue, a sleek black car pulled up.

"Here we are," Parvathi said with a smile as Akshara stepped out, adjusting the hem of her beautiful maroon, long-sleeved, A-line midi dress with a square neckline.

The dress hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her elegance. Her soft curls cascaded over her shoulders, and the subtle shimmer of her makeup highlighted her delicate features.

Akshara glanced at the grand venue, adorned with dazzling lights and fresh flowers. The soft music playing in the background added to the charm of the evening.

"Akshu!" Parvathi called.

Akshara turned to face her.

"Just call me after the party. I'll pick you up," Parvathi said.

"Well, okay, but where will you be at this hour?" Akshara asked curiously.

"I'm going to meet my friend. I'll be just ten minutes away. If my brother calls you, just tell him I am at the apartment, okay?" Parvathi said.

"What? No, no! I can't lie to him. And who is this friend you're going to meet?" Akshara asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Akshu, please, please! You're my best friend and my sweet cousin. Just cover for me, won't you help me?" Parvathi pleaded. "And don't overthink it! I'm not dating anyone, okay?" she huffed.

Akshara sighed in defeat. "Alright, I'll help you, but be safe. Bye!"

"Sure! You are best , Akshu. Bye!" Parvathi waved before driving away.

Akshara took a deep breath and entered the party venue.

She scanned the area, searching for her teammates. Soon, she spotted them waving at her.

She walked toward them, smiling.

"You look beautiful in this outfit, Akshara!" Srishti and Akash said excitedly at the same time.

"Yes, I agree," Rahul and Alya added.

Akshara chuckled, feeling warmth spread through her chest. " Thank you, guys. You all look amazing too."

Their conversation continued as they enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

Inside the grand hall, the staff and board members were present, along with Adhithya's family members.

But the main hero was missing-who else but Adhithya?

He was nowhere to be seen at the party. So, where was he?
