I had to admit, there was one positive to falling into the pool and scraping my knees on the way out. I meant that I had to switch dresses this morning with Louise to hide my 'ugly' knees.

I was all for Katie having the moment to shine and not the questionable stares at my scraped knees, so I was more than happy to switch with Louise. Louise had the off shoulder, long peach coloured gown that covered her all the way to her ankles. It had a slit to the knee, so you wouldn't waddle as you walk but it wasn't a big slit so it didn't open unless you stuck your leg out.

This was great (for me), as I had another ugly-ish number.

Thankfully Louise was a similar size to me, albeit smaller chest so she had no issues with my dress. She looked great, the ruffles actually complimented her petite figure and perky breasts, that clearly didn't need a bra like me to act the way that they were acting. But then again Louise could pull anything off.

When I walked out of the room changed, people didn't look at me with pity as they did yesterday in my ill fitted dress. They also didn't make a fuss like they did with Louise, saying she could 'just wear anything and look great', I couldn't get upset, it was true.

With this dress I just blended into the background, just where I wanted to be.

The only issue was that my arms still hurt from yesterday, which meant I couldn't put on my strapless bra on the hook I wanted.  Surely 3 out of 4 hooks was enough to keep the girls in place?

At least from the front it didn't look like my cleavage was trying to pop out the dress.

I did call out for help three times from the room but everyone was too busy to help. Surely the bra was sturdy enough till I could find someone else to help me maybe after the ceremony that we were not running late for.

At least now I could say it's not my fault.

I had come an hour early, as Katie has instructed, and my 'make up' didn't take long at all as my face wasn't as bad as she said it was. The make up artist placed a hair tie on each of my ear for ten minutes and she said it was a Korean beauty trick to de-puff the face. It almost looked like it worked.

After a simple layer of foundation to hide my scattered tiny sun spots and make my skin look like one even and smooth colour, she added some red lipstick (that clashed terribly with the dress), and some simple eye make up. It was simple which was perfect for me.

My hair was curled, just a little to make it seem like it had some waves, and she clipped it half back with two curls coming forward to rest on my cheeks. I did have to fight the urge to keep tucking it behind my ears.

I sat on the swivel chair to rest my foot as much as I could before I had to put the heels on, as everyone else got ready. The rest of them had slept in, as they were up all night partying.

I was also up all night tossing and turning so perhaps that made it easier for me to wake up. Kyle was still asleep by the time I left so I had texted him where I was going to be, where the ceremony was and told him to sit in the back where ideally no one will notice him as I haven't told Katie I have 2 plus ones now.

And now wasn't the time either as she was suppressing crying as everyone gushed over how beautiful she looked, which she did.

After another half an hour, we had all slipped on our heels and headed outside for the pictures. We had gone to behind the winery so the guests and all couldn't see us. The sun was warm, but not too hot that I was sweating as the material on this dress was definitely not sweat proof.

"Can you get closer?"

I took a step forward at the photographer's instruction and Katie wrapped a hand around me, so I did the same.
