Asteria glanced between the Daphne and Astoria. The blond had somehow convinced her to go to Astoria and Pansy's dorm to hang out. But she felt completely out of place here. She sat cross legged on Pansy's bed as the other three girls giggled and were going through the bags of snacks that were in the center of the room. She hadn't ever had many friends, and it was usually just her and Lily that would hang out.
Daphne glanced over her shoulder at Asteria and smiled at before randomly grabbing a bag of dragon snaps sweets and plopping down next to Asteria handing her the bag. Asteria's lips parted as she stared at the candy. It had been her favorite. There was no way that the girl could have known that.
"Reggie picked them up and made sure to let me know that they were your favorites." Asteria let out a clipped sigh and shook her head. She should have known that it was Regulus. Pansy arched an eyebrow at them as she sat next to Astoria on her bed.
"What's the deal there? Are you and Regulus like dating?" Asteria scrunched her nose and shook her head. She had kissed Regulus one time, and it felt really weird when she had done it.
"Absolutely not. He's just important to me." She and Regulus had been through a lot together, but it wasn't like she could exactly explain that to them. Pansy and Astoria laughed. She didn't understand what was so funny about it.
"Daphne was a bit worried that, that was what was going on. She fancies him." Astoria said wagging her eyebrows at Daphne who dropped her face into her hands and groaned softly. Asteria smiled brightly and turned to Daphne.
"That's wonderful and I happen to know that you are his type." Daphne squeaked and shoved Asteria lightly making all of them laugh. Asteria grinned and glanced over at Pansy. She had her eyes narrowed and was just staring at her.
"What?" She asked carefully. She didn't want to ruin her chances at making new friends. But there was something in the dark-haired girl's eyes.
"Are you related to Grindelwald?" The question struck Asteria like a lightning bolt and the other girls eyes widened as they looked at Pansy in shock. But Asteria had been rendered speechless. Daphne leaned forward and glared at Pansy.
"You can't just ask someone that!" She half yelled but Pansy just shook her head her eyes never leaving Asteria's face,
"My parents have portraits of Grindelwald, and she looks a lot like him. Especially when she smiles." Daphne opened her mouth to say something else, but Asteria held her hand up to stop her.
"And if I am?" Her expression turned icy. She was preparing herself for the worst. However Pansy smirked and arched an eyebrow at her.
"I knew it. Are you his granddaughter?" Asteria huffed a laugh.
"I'm his daughter." Gasps filled the air as the girls stared at her. But Daphne gave her a sympathic look and took her hand.
"You can tell us if you want. Whatever you say wont leave the room." The other two girls nodded silently and it wasnt that Asteria cared if anyone else found out. Because she didnt. She inhaled a deep breath and told them everything.
She started with her first life and then the second and this one. They sat silently and listened and nodded every now and then. Once she was finished talking, they all just stared at her. They didn't look like they were afraid of her. Nor did they pity her.
"So, your father said That Tom Riddle was your Destiny?" Asteria gave Pansy a confused look, but a smirk tugged at the corner of the girl's mouth, making her frown slightly. "Who's to say it isn't The Tom that is in your year now and not his dad." Asteria's eye twitched as her frown deepened.
"Over my dead body." She seethed without thinking about how they would react. Astoria smiled sympathicly.
"Our Tom isn't like his father. He is kind and considerate. He can be cold at times with people that he doesn't know because he doesn't trust easily." Asteria scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"I will NEVER have anything to do with a Riddle again. Salazar himself could not force me." She declared with a stern look. Daphne gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. She knew that her sister was only trying to help Tom be seen in a better light. But Asteria had been through enough with one Riddle and whether she said it or not Daphne knew that she was traumatized by it.

Mattheo watched in amusement as Tom paced back and forth with their father's journal in his hands as he read through it.
"How did you manage to get dear old Dad's journal anyway?" He asked trying now to laugh at Tom as his eyebrows drew together.
"That can't be possible." He muttered under his breath. Mattheo grunted and shook his head.
"Tom what has gotten into you? You are so tightly coiled right now that its more annoying than usual." Tom lifted his head and turned to Mattheo.
"The new girl. I knew she was familiar. But there is no way that she hasn't aged a day." Mattheo's eyebrows drew together as he leaned forward resting his arms on his thighs.
"What are you talking about?" Tom shook his head and shoved the journal at Mattheo. Revealing the carefully drawn sketch of Asteria. Mattheo shrugged like he didn't get it. Tom scoffed and threw his hands up.
"She should be as old as Father, and she isn't! Father is still obsessed with her. Whether he wants her dead or for some other reason entirely." Mattheo looked at his brother like he had lost his mind.
"Tom, I think that you are reading too much into this." Tom growled in frustration and stormed out of the room.
He knew that he was right and he was going to prove it.
