Allan and Anton were walking through the enormous amount of concrete and other objects, which used to function before the disaster. Destroyed computers, robots and countless cables could be seen everywhere. Anton was amazed from that many details, he could not see before. Now that his confusion was cleared a little, he could see more than just concrete. He could detect broken refrigerators, tables, stoves, plates and other kitchen objects. It was like climbing a pile of waste. But, not just normal waste. Blood had covered a big area. Allan seemed to have climbed that "chaos" many times, because he was going ahead way faster than Anton, who was getting stuck in many places. He could not believe himself he run and escaped from the robot in that place. He was so deep in his thoughts, he forgot to watch a small hole ahead. His left leg got stuck and touched a soft object deep down. At that moment his right foot was hurting more, but he decided not to call for help. He managed to get his leg back and looked in the hole. Anton shocked from what he saw and backed off. He could not believe his foot had just touched a dead body. The body was still covered in blood and insects were grouping near it. His face became white in just a second . . . Allan had already arrived in the destination. He could see Anton from the only building "alive" there. The other buildings were still burning or falling. Allan decided not to help him, but watch that as his training instead. Anton stood still for a couple minutes and calmed his thoughts. After scratching his body in metal and concrete a couple times, he arrived at the building. Allan looked safe and sound, while Anton was full of small scratches in his arms. He reacted angry.
"Hey, it was funny watching me there wasn't it?"
Allan laughed a little.
"Don't be so serious. I didn't help you, because you are a soldier and you should be able to solve this problems on your own."
"It is way harder than I thought!"
"Come on! Let's get inside the building."
They entered the building and Anton immediately noticed the doctor-robot that he punched in the face. The room included 6 hospital beds, 2 computers and different lab objects. This time the robot was fully "recovered" and lying in one of the six beds, located in that small room. It looked like someone had put the damaged robot there and repaired it. Anton was curious.
"Allan. Who repairs this robo-medics?"
Allan approached the robot, touched its robotic head and responded.
"This beautiful unknown technology here, repairs itself."
Anton's interest began to grow, even though he didn't know why he was so interested in high-tech.
"Sounds very complex. Are all your experts useless? I mean how come, they have not found anything, after all this time."
Allan was not that much interested in technology and responded ironically.
"I don't know. I am an expert too. Just this piece of metal is smarter than me."
He then was trying to push something under the bed where the robot was lying.
Anton was looking at him strange.
"What are you doing?"
"Just watch."
At that moment a monitor showed a message requiring a password.
Anton's head started to hurt a lot and the pain in his foot was greater than before. He coughed a little. Allan was worried.
"Are you ok?"
Anton wanted to hide his pain, because he thought it would pass fast . . . Allan typed the password in the touch-screen monitor and then a hole appeared in a corner of the room. They went near the hole and saw stairs going down. Anton's eyes started to shake. He didn't know where all that pain was coming from. For this reason, Anton became angry and shouted to Allan.
"What is happening to me? What is this?!"
Allan could not understand Anton's pain.
"What are you talking about?"
Anton decided to endure the pain and rushed down the stairs. It looked as if he knew those stairs very well. Allan followed him worried.
"Wait! It's dark! You will fall!""I don't care! I just want to run and leave from this madness!"
"Are you crazy? I won't let you die here! You asshole, stop!
As they were stepping down the stairs a shining blue light could be seen clearly. The more they stepped, the stronger was the blue light. The opening upstairs closed. Anton was shouting from his pain inside his head. The more he approached the blue light, the less could he see. His eyes were slowly losing their sight.
"I am almost there! Please stop hurting me!"
When he reached the end. He could barely see a door before him. Anton felt too heavy and collapsed. Allan arrived only 5 seconds later, but he found his friend unconscious. He put a code next to the blue door and waited for it to open.
. . .
Jack was still mumbling and started to explore the doctor's house without his permission. He looked like a mad person in a madhouse. Brian was now in the "Operation Room" with Greg and Marc still in coma. Greg decided to take a rest and sleep in a room in the first floor of his house. The only one who stayed with Marc, was Brian. He approached Marc and was looking suspicious.
"My friend. Who are you? What is your mission?"
At that moment Marc opened his eyes fast.
Brian felt just like in a horror movie. He backed off quickly and fell down. He wanted to get up, but his fear didn't let him to. His mind was empty. Brian was not able to think of any possible solutions. 2 minutes after, he finally controlled his muscles and got up. He approached Marc again, but this time Marc's eyes were closed. Brian was thrilled.
