As soon as they left Umbridge's office, Beatrice's steps were quick and purposeful. She was scanning the corridor, her mind racing, trying to find Harry and Hermione. But before her thoughts could settle, she turned sharply to Hannah, her voice firm but laced with concern.
— Hannah, what were you doing there? — Beatrice demanded, her eyes searching her best friend's face for any sign of confusion or hesitation. — You weren't supposed to be...— she cut herself off, realizing the urgency of the situation. — Why were you involved in all of that? —
Hannah paused, blinking as if she hadn't expected Beatrice to ask. — I was just trying to help, Bea! What's going on? What's happening to Harry? Why is Umbridge after him like that? —
Beatrice's expression softened slightly, but the worry was still evident in her eyes. She quickly looked around, making sure no one was listening before lowering her voice. — Hannah, it's bigger than we thought. Voldemort... he's got Sirius. Harry saw it, and it's not just some crazy dream. It's real. Voldemort's torturing him...Sirius is in danger. —
Hannah's eyes widened in disbelief. She took a moment to process, clearly shocked by the gravity of the situation. — Wait, what? Sirius? Harry saw him? But... how? When? —
Beatrice glanced over her shoulder, her tone heavy as she spoke. — He's seen it himself. Voldemort's controlling his mind, or at least... that's what we think. —
Hannah, still processing the information, felt a chill run down her spine. — This is... this is bigger than anything we've dealt with before, isn't it? —
Beatrice nodded solemnly, her jaw set with determination. — Exactly. That's why we need to find them, make sure Sirius's okay. —
As they stepped out of the castle and into the cool air, Beatrice's eyes immediately found Hermione and Harry standing near the edge of the Forbidden Forest. A mix of relief and urgency hit her all at once. Without hesitation, she rushed over to Hermione and pulled her into a tight hug, her arms instinctively wrapping around her.
— I was so worried, — Beatrice whispered, her voice thick with emotion as she buried her face in Hermione's hair.
Hermione, not at all surprised by the sudden embrace, hugged her back just as tightly, a soft smile touching her lips. — I'm fine, Bea. Really. —
Beatrice pulled back slightly, her hands resting on Hermione's shoulders as she looked into her eyes. She didn't say anything at first, she didn't need to. Instead, she kissed Hermione gently, a soft press of lips, before pulling away with a relieved sigh.
— What've you done with Umbridge? —
— She got carried away, — said Harry. — By a herd of centaurs. —
— And they left you behind? — asked Ginny, looking astonished.
