*Mid December
Winter wind and drifting snow blanketed me on my way to school. I had to miss out on Adande , it was just too cold and snowy. I pulled open the thick, tan door to school as the normal outside crowds were in. I'm toting my "book bag" and playing music. This time, it's "Daughters" by Nas. For some reason, that song reminds me a shlit ton of Hailie.
Ever since her dad picked her up from my house, I've had my suspicions. I know he don't like me. But I love Hailie, and I'll do or put up with anything to make sure she's my girl. Now and forever.
Gabriella Ortega's nasty-arse onion breath is in my face and I actually put up with it. I'm going to class today as I head down to AP science.
Kaiden, Julianne and Ashlee are in this class, so it shouldn't be too horrible. But, unfortunately I get there five minutes early. The usual dorky kids are here and I've been skipping so many classes, I forget where I'm supposed to sit.
So, I slide into the hard, navy blue chair next to Ashlee. She looks at me, distinctively. Undressing me with her eyes. I know she still has a thing for me, and I resent it. It'll hurt Shady and I couldn't and wouldn't do that to my best friend of four plus years.
Ashlee's got long, curly auburn hair that she's twirling around on her finger. She's got a round, chubby face that's marked with scars from picking acne that she's slathered in an unGodly amount of makeup. She's trying extra hard to make her body look appealing, too. She's sitting in a position where she's able to press her large, full boobs to together for the best cleavage of all time, but that compared with her decades old white and purple "Kid Rock" t-shirt is most likely the most unsexy thing ever. His face is squished up again her. She's sucking in her tummy and pushing out her decent sized booty to make it look 100000000 times better than it actually does.
I don't know how he puts up with this whore.
"Hey there, Dre." She says seductively, but it kinda fails. She moved here from Texas freshman year and her accent is thicker than molasses. She's also pushing her lips together so that it looks like reddish purple sausages are lying atop each other.
"Yo, Ashlee. I gotta girlfriend now. Stop tryna hit on me." I said waiting for Julianne to come in.
"Who? Is it Gabriella Ortega?" She said, trying to get closer to me.
"No, you dumb slut. It's Hailie Scott." I said, pushing her away. I was getting quite annoyed now.
"Eminem's daughter? Do you know she's slept with twenty guys all at the same time?" Ashlee's trying to touch my shoulder blade, but I won't let her.
"Will you stop talking about yourself? Anyways, you have Kaiden. Why you need me?" I asked. I stood up and walked by the trash can to look out for Julie or Hailie. The teacher still wasn't here as Ashlee attempted to wrap her jean covered thick thigh around my bottom half. Guys and girls are whispering about Ashlee's sluttiness.
"Would you stop?! What the fugs wrong with Shady?! I have a fugging girlfriend!" I shout and that shuts her up. Julianne walks in, toting homework.
Julianne Hart, my best friend of over seven years walked in. If I wasn't in love with Hailie, and she wasn't in love with Nicholas Andersen, we'd most likely be dating.
"Sup, Dre." She says and slips a heavy packet of answers in my hand. It's a game we play. She gives me answers, I give her answers. We skipped school once in eighth grade and Julie gots to school earlier than me, therefore getting the answers from the day. Julianne skips school sometimes, but she still always manages to get the homework answers.
I copy a few down before class begins. My teacher, Mr. Baller, doesn't notice my pages getting slipped in with everyone else's homework. I can't conceive it.
This goes on for the rest of the day, during English I texted Hailie. She's hiding in the bathroom during gym and I almost want to go in with her. Ms. Briggs, my English teacher, falls asleep in Harry Potter and everyone's talking. A few girls are leaving and I'm going to join them. First, I check with Hailie.
\Hailie/| Dude, where are you. I'm in the east wing
Me| Aight. B there soonI ran with the girls, cut across the cafeteria and into the east side of the school. There's a ton of old classrooms in this section. They fired a whole lot of other teachers due to budget cuts in freshman year.
I walk down the empty, cold lot. It's dark and actually pretty scary. I see my beautiful girlfriend standing by the side entrance. Adande's across the street away and I'm ready to go in with him.
I hugged Hailie tightly, breathing in her lavender scent. She rubbed my back slowly and she whispered "I miss you" to me. We pulled out of the embrace and as silently as possible, unlocked the door. Finally, we were getting out.
The air outside was cold and Hailie wrapped her puffy black jacket around her. Her book bag was around her arm. We were running and laughing at the whole thing. Trying not to get picked up by cameras, we ran across the street as quickly as we can.
Hailie's stomping the day old ice and snow off her boots as we enter the familar Chinese restaurant. Adande's eating some stale chow mein and waving at us. We waved back and slid into the booth with him. There's a lowly lit light hanging from the water leaked ceiling.
"Aye Dre, Hai." He said Hailie said "hey" and I nod.
We have a pretty quiet conversation about school, girls, boys and sports and I make sure Hailie's in every topic change. I wanted her in all the conversations because she deserved to fugging be there.
There's an Chinese obese woman that was staring at us for like the entirety of the conversation. She was looking pretty pissed off. Finally, after awhile, she walked over to us. Her eyes screamed angry and she slammed her chubby hands down on the table, rattling Adande's finished bowl.
"You never pay! I sick of dis! I know you go to Carzon Daily High School! I call them now and you're arse is grass!!" She's screaming and swearing in such broken English, it takes a little bit of time to figure out what she's saying.
Adande throws some money down on the table angrily and walks out the front door, the bell chiming loudly. Hailie and I walk out and around the building to see Adande with his iconic concealed beer, sitting a few feet away from a hollow dumpster. We sit by him, Hailie to right of me.
"You think she's going to actually call 'em?" Adande inquires, nervously taking a sip.
"Nah, she threatens a lot." Hailie says and he playfully pushes her. I lean back so she could feel it.
"No she doesn't." Adande said, laughing.
"Yo, I'm not worried. It's Hailie I'm worried about." I said, motioning before her.
"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen.." She said and I brushed a loose curl from her face. She smiled with her bright teeth. That motherfuggin' smile could cure cancer.
I just hope afterwards, I can see that smile again.
/Okay, sorry if that was boring as heck. This was an important filler chapter, if such can be said. It's super important. Also, I realized that Hailie graduated in 2014, but for the sake of this fanfic, let's just say she graduated in 2015. Republished because I hated the older version. Catch ya later😉~alltimeshady\
