I breath in the morning air deeply as I take in the site before me. Last night, after hiking most the day, I had decided to camp on top of a hill. Now, I look down into the valley below me.

A small river weaves it's way around the small hills until it collects at the lowest point. The water of the lake looks blue from up here, but that might just be a reflection. Trees, bushes, and other foliage covers everything as far I can see.

My wolf, who is unusually silent, suddenly tenses. "Something is wrong! Something is coming! We need to leave, NOW!"

I scoop up my sleeping bag and shove it in my backpack. I then take off at a run down the hill and into the ice-cold river. There are a great deal of bushes on the side of the river that hang over so I hide myself there. Hoping to escape my prosure.

Sure enough a couple of seconds later, I hear the beat of feet hitting the ground. About a quater mile back where I entered the river.

I hear the voice yell in frustration, "How does that stupid rouge keep getting away? Are you sure she is wondering our lands alone?"

Another much deeper voice answers his question, "Yes, Sir. Everytime there is only one scent that doesn't belong to one of the pack."

The first man screams again, "I want around the clock patrols around our boarders until this rouge either moves on or we capture it."

"Yes, Sir."

The wind picks up and blows the two men's scents to me. I can tell a lot about them by that alone. Some of which I care not to know. One of them being I know that one of them had sex recently. But the other scent smelled like some I have smelled before, but I couldn't remember from where.
