A soft beeping sound is the first thing I start to hear as I come too again. My head is throbbing and my limbs feel too heavy to lift. I turn my head to my left. I can feel the sun on my face, but if feels different. It offers little to no warmth.

I open my eyes to find that it's not the sun but a bed side lamp. Look around the small hospital room. It doesn't have any windows beside for the door. Through it I can see a taller man standing outside. I hear something to left move a little. I tense thinking the worst, but when I see the beautiful woman from before I can't help, but smile. She had her beautiful golden blonde hair in a tight ponytail and she has her head resting on the bed.

A smile crosses my lips as I reach to touch her head, but as I do my stomach behinds to hurt in a different way then it did before. But I still cry out in pain which causes the girl to wake up completely.

She sees what I'm doing and yells, "Don't twist! You will rip your stitches out."

After the pain subsides I smile at her, "Now you tell me." I say in a teasing tone.

"I'm sorry. I honestly tried not to fall asleep, but guess I dozed off." She leans up and kisses me on my lips. I kiss her back and cup her cheek with my right hand. I can feel her smile into the kiss. Which causes my heart to skip a beat. Thus causing the steady beeping to get out sinc for a second.

She laughs, "Aww, did I make your heart skip a beat by kissing you?"

I blush than nod. Before she could say anything else I kiss her again, but this time we were rudly intrupted by the man I had heard at the river.

"Serria, get away from the prisoner, and why is she not restained?" He yells at the two guards at the door.

"The beta asked us to remove them, Sir. We only removed the ones on her wrists. She is not going anywhere."

His eyes flash with angry. "That is beside the point! She could have hurt my sister during the time you didn't even know that they were kissing little a lone that she was awake." He looks at Serria who is now holding my hand. "Serria, what did I say? I said get away from the prisoner!"

She shoke her head, "I will not. She is my mate, I will not allow you to hurt her."

"This weak woman could never be your mate." He yells at her. His blue eyes are trained on his sister as they faught for dominance in the fight.

"If she is so weak then how did she get away from you not once, but twice?"

"Easy, she is a sneaky bitch that needs to be put down."

"You kill her it will be like killing me and you know it!" She yells. I squeeze her hand to calm her down a little. She break eye contact with him long enough to smile at and squeeze my hand back.

"No it won't, because she is not your mate. She is almost to weak to be called a wolf. That's how she got here in the first place. How weak do you have to be to stab yourself with your own knife!"

They are quite long enough for me to get a word out, "The knife doesnt belong to me."

He glared at me, "What did you say, Rogue?"

I ignore the venom in his voice. "The knife doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the man who killed my family and nearly killed me by stabing me in the gut with that knife. Thought that I had gotten all the sliver, but I guess I missed a couple pieces."

He stares at me trying to get me to break eye contact. But I keep looking at him straight on. With a unwavering stare. "Who are you, Rogue?"

"I am Kate O'Neal. Third child of Travis O'Neal of the moonlight pack." I hold my head high as I say my title.

He laughs, "Yeah right, they are all dead. The Alpha of the bloodmoon killed all his heirs and merge the two packs."

"If you don't believe me look at the left side of my neck." I turn my head so he can see the moonlight pack crest tattoo I got there.

He falls silent for a second before he turns mummbling something about getting a doctor.

Serria looks at me in a knew way that I don't really like. It's almost this she thinks I'm going to change into some monster that will eat her.

"What is it, my love?" I ask as I squeeze her hand.

"It's just......no one but me has ever been able to stand up to Andrew before."

I shrug my shoulders, "I grew up With two older brothers. He is no where near as scary as Zac when he got angry." I yawn. My eyes feel heavy and all I want to do is sleep.

Serria touches my face, "Go to sleep, honey. I will be here when you wake up." I smile softly before falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.
