"I think I'll just stay here. I can't go now. Just hug Av and tell her I have something important to do." I sat on the edge of the hotel bed, nagdadalawang isip na umalis. Tanaw ko ang dalawang kaibigan na ngayon ay abala, watching as my friend carefully adjusted the sleeves of Malik's shirt.

"Girl? We're literally minutes away from Av's house. Everything will be alright that's why we booked a hotel instead of you coming over here alone and being away from home for a long time," the wrinkles smoothed out, abala si Lujain sa oag aayos ng suot ng kaibigan. Her hands moved with ease, making sure every detail was just right.

"I can't leave you here i know you're just having a cold feet but trust me my brother can't go near you. I will be by your side the whole time,"

Lujain nodded, supportive of Malik. "And that's why i'm here so you won't feel disturbed and worried while you're there,"

Napasinghap ako at binaba nalang ang tingin. Hindi ko lang feel na pumunta pero ayaw ko rin naman na sumama ang loob ni Av.

"Don't worry we'll never kidnap and steal Luka away from you,"

I glared at her and scoffed. "Don't you dare,"

Malik chuckled. "Everyone will behave later in the party, trust me. Dinara and Nathan are aware about the situation and they will help us if anything unnecessary happens,"

"We're gonna behave so that you'll allow us to to have him for a sleepover,"

"Ughh, I'm excited for that. I can't wait to pick up Luka and bring him to go shopping for toys,"

"Stop saying that! He's only seven months how dare you try pick him up and take him away from me."

"We are not gonna steal him away from you, okay?"

"What? I just think Luka doesn't have to miss anything just because he's away from my family. You know he deserves so much more and i also know that we're capable of giving what's rightfully his,"

"Shut up, Malik. He only needs me and that's enough,"

"The world is in the palm of his hand, Brioni. As his uncle i'm just trying to give what i can give for him so please don't get mad if i am spoiling him,"

"What can you really do? Honestly, i think Malik is just trying to give him the glimpse of what's his life in the other side of this world,"  Lujain smiles. "Luka is his only nephew, at the end of the day he's still carrying his father's blood. It runs through his veins."

"Anyway, i like your new hair color,". Lujain winked. "What's that red thing called? I should probably get a new hair look, too."

"Strawberry blonde? I dunno, i just requested something red and let the hairdresser decide what to do,"

"And a bob?! Must be nice to fit any hairstyle," my friend continued.

"It's just convenient this way than the long one. You know i'm doing a lot of things now."

The gender reveal was a success and i am thankful for my friends for making sure that everyone is comfortable. Hindi naman masyadong nagtanong si Av at sa tingin ko she doesn't have any idea about Nicco and i, she's just enjoying everything.

Di na ako nagtagal pagkatapos ng picture taking ay nagpaalam na akong umuwi. Mabuti naman at hindi na masyadong nakialam si Malik at hinayaan na ako.

"So how was it? You had fun with them?" Usisa ni Lujain habang nagbubura ako ng makeup sa banyo.

"Yes, i was nervous about the reveal tho but it's was all good." glancing at his reflection on the mirror from time to time.

"So how's your ex?" Lujain asked teasingly.
