(A few years later)
"Mama! Mama! I made a best friend today!" Lucy yells, running into the room. "Really? What's their name?" I ask, smiling. "His name is Natsu!" She exclaims. "His name? Oh so he's your boyfriend?" I tease. "No! What is a boyfriend anyway?" She asks, puzzled. "Oh you'll find out when you're older darling." I say mysteriously. "No fair!" Lucy says, crossing her arms. I laugh. "Okay Lucy, it's time for lunch." I say. She nods and rubs her grumbling stomach. A maid sets all of the plates and food up. I ask a butler to call Jude. He nods and goes to Jude's office. "Mama, why is daddy always in his office?" Lucy asks me.
"Because he need to finish all his work." I inform. "But he never gets rest. Maybe I should help him." She says. "No no. I think he's fine." I smile. We sit in our seats and Jude enters the Dining Room. "Hello my little angels. How are you today?" He asks Lucy. "Daddy! I'm very good! I made a new best friend! His name is Natsu!" She exclaims again. He gives me a knowing look. Igneel, Natsu's father has agreed to getting the two married. Igneel is rich like us, so we've decided to make each other even more richer. But I want my daughter to be happy more than the money.
"Lucy, eat up." Jude says. She does as she's told and smiles. "Can I go play with Natsu again?" She asks. We nod. "Yay!" And then she runs off to the garden. If they keep this friendship up, it'll be very awkward when they're older....
