Lucy POV
We reach the forest with grins. Mine was the biggest I must say! We walk into the forest. We see a bright light and squint against it, trying to see what was happening. "Hello girls. I see you've taken care of my beautiful daughter." Someone says. My mother appears. "H-Hi! Are you Lu-chan's mum?" Levy-chan asks. She nods. "I need to tell you all something. Lucy, have you felt that your necklace has been warming up?" My mum asks. "It only happened in the cake shop.""Oh, I see. *Grins*. Do you remember back when you were four, when you asked me what a boyfriend was?" Layla says. "SHHH Mum!" She laughs. "I think you know what a boyfriend is now. Can I have a look at your necklace that I gave you back then?" I take it out and and pass it to her. Though she's a ghost, she was solid. Awesome! She looks at it, nods and hands it back.
"Girls, Lucy has a power that she doesn't even know about. Do not trust anyone with this information. You have to wait till sundown today. There's going to be 1200 keys that appear. And another 24. When this happens, Lucy, be ready. Their power may overwhelm you. When you summon them, they'll explain some more that I can't right now. I cannot stay here for that long. One more thing before I go. Girls, tell Master Makarov everything. Also tell the Magic Council. They'll know what to do. If Master doesn't want to tell them, then don't. Okay, I have to go now. Good luck! I hope you get all the questions right in the upcoming exams." Layla says with a warm smile, and she vanishes into thin air.
"Wow." Kinana says. "I never knew my mother had enough magic in her to do that." I remark. "Juvia thinks you look just like your mother!" Juvia says, her eyes sparkling. "Yeah. Lu-chan, I thought the only people who could have keys was celestial wizards. Are you one?" Levy-chan asks. "Yep." I answer. "But there aren't many Celestial wizards. The only ones I have heard of is Sorano, Yukino, Karen, and Layla Heartfilia. And she had a daughter... Who is also a Celestial Mage... And your mother looked exactly like Layla Heartfilia... And you look like your mother..." Levy-chan says.
I know where this is going. I'll let her finish her train of thought. "And if Layla Heartfilia had a daughter, and your mother looks exactly like Layla Heartfilia... And you look like your mother... And her daughter was named Lucy... You must be Lucy Heartfilia!" Levy-chan exclaims. "Shhhh! There's a reason why I haven't told anyone!" I whisper furiously. "You're Lucy Heartfilia? Juvia is very confused. Why would one of the richest girls in Fiore want to go to Magnolia High?" Juvia asks, thoroughly confused.
"I ran away. I thought everyone knew that." I say. "They do. Oh, that's why you didn't say your last name. Okay, we should go, it's starting to get dark." Kinana says. We head back to the dorms, talking about my mother and how nice she was. I wonder if they've realised that she's gone? We reach Juvia and Kinana's room. "See ya!" Kinana calls. "Bye!" Levy-chan and I say. We go into our room. "Is she gone?" Levy-chan asks. I nod. "It's okay." She says, hugging me. I hug her back, and I didn't realise I was crying until she handed me a tissue.
