The ghost Phantom Ship

Chapter 7

         I woke up when my alarm went off, so I push the off button and laid there for a couple of minutes before I got up to get ready, Annette knocked and ask if I was up, and I said yes. I got my outfit and headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I grab my backpack and Halloween costume and went down to the kitchen, Tim had breakfast ready so we could eat before we headed out and he also told us he packs up both lunches. We sat down to eat, " Tim what are you going to be doing while we are at work," I'm going into an interview with the principal for security guard," ok what time do you go in for the interview," I go in at 8:30 am," ok, you can hang out in my classroom until you have to go into your interview," I'm just going to sit and work on some paperwork until my interview," ok." Annette walked me to the classroom and before she left, she told me to call if I needed Tim or her and I told her I would. 

            A Week Later                                                                                                                                                                                 I was cleaning up the classroom when Annette came in and asked if I need any help and I told her I was good. She said she would be back after she clean up her classroom, she told me to stay in my classroom and I told her that I would stay. I put on some music and got back to work. I just got done cleaning and decide that I would start to grade the work that the students had completed. I just got started when Annette came in and ask if I was done cleaning and was ready to leave and I told her I was ready to go home, I put the paper in my backpack, and we headed out to the car when Tim came out of the school and asked how our day was we both said it was good. We got home I told them I would be right back that I was going to get change and to grade the kids paper, they both told me if I needed anything to let them know and I said that I would. I grab a water out of the fridge and headed to my room when I noticed my bedroom door was open and I know that I had shut the door so I yelled for Annette and Tim to come up and they both ask didn't you shut your door and I said yes, Tim told Annette to have her weapon ready and he told her to stay out in the hallway with me. He went in with his gun drawn and he took about five minutes, and he said it was clear and told us to stay in the room until he clear out the rest of the house. I put my backpack down and went over to my desk and there was a package on my desk that wasn't there when I left, I got Annette attention and told her that the package wasn't there and she told me not to touch it, Tim came back into the room and said the rest of the house was clear. Tim call the bomb squad here and they told us to wait outside so that what we did. The local police department and bomb squad got here and went inside, and they were carrying the package and they put it in there x-ray machine and it was cleared so they open it, and it was a note with white rose with a dead dove, we were all creep out and there was a letter address to me so they asked if I want to read it and I said yes so they handed me a pair of gloves. I put the gloves on and took the letter and open it.

      Dear Heather,                                                                                                                                                                                   Hi you can't hide no matter how hard you tried to I wanted you back in Courtland, New York by the end of the week, I don't want to harm you if that what you are thinking, I know you are doing research on The New Dawn Ship and The Homestead to find out the truth and you the only one that can discover the truth of how crooked Lexi and Joey really are and their family, I will know if you don't return to Courtland, New York by the end of the week, the message will be a lot meaner and Detective Charles Gilbert will receive a package to. I don't want to harm either one of you, they kill my husband, and their family hurt a lot of other family. I'll be watching you at all times.

          Annette and Tim told me to pack my bags because we were head back to Cortland, New York since I would be in more danger they would just have more people watching me and the house. Alexis text me and ask if I could stop at the library when I got back into town because she has a package for me with a letter. I text her and told her that I would be in later just don't know when I would be in. Alexis told me that was fine and to stay safe that she also ask if Charlie came in if I wanted him to pick the package up, I told her that she could give it to him. I put my phone in my pocket and went up to my room and start to pack my bag when Annette came in and ask if I was ready to head out, I told her to give me an hour to finishing, she told me that would be outside finishing packing the car and told me to text her when I finishing packing my bag  and she left the room. I turn on my music and went back to packing so we could leave, I was half-way through with packing when my phone went off. It was Charles texting me
