          We got home and Zack got the twins inside while Charles help me out of the car and got me on the couch so I could sit and hold our children. Zack came over and gave me a hug and told me he was heading home and if we needed anything to let him know. I got up and put Aiden in his swing and put Addison in her swing, I went into my office and grab my notes and laptop so I could finish my story. Charles came in and ask why I didn't get him to help me with get the items I needed, and I told him that it didn't hurt for me to move around a little on my own, he sat down next to me and turn on the TV and I was able to get another chapter done. I got up and help Charles to change diaper and to feed them and we put them in their bassinet and went out to the kitchen to make dinner for us. " Heather are you sure that you want to cook," yes I am fine I just have to take it easy," ok, I'm going into the living room, if you need anything let me know," ok." 

                A Month Later                                                                                                                                                                                  I just got home from taking Aiden and Addison to the doctor and they are perfectly healthy. I put Aiden and Addison into their swing and went to the kitchen to make dinner, so I had something to take with me to work, I let the food cook while I change Aiden and Addison diaper and feed them. I put Aiden and Addison into the play pen so they could take a nap, I went and put my chicken wrap and the potato salad into my lunch box, I also got a travel cup of coffee that I could take with me and the rest into the fridge for Charles for dinner. Charles came home and I gave him a hug and kiss and told him to go and change and then I would go up and get ready. I play with the twins, they were on the tummies playing on their mats, Charles came down and sat next to me," how was Aiden and Addison doctor appointment," it went good next week they will get vaccines that they need," ok, I'll tried to be there," ok, I have you dinner in the fridge," ok what time to you have to go in," I go in 6 and will be home at 4 am," ok, I'll be with Lucy for this shift," ok," I have to get ready." I went up and got for work, I got done changing went downstairs to see Charles put Aiden into his swing and I put Addison in her swing after I gave her a kiss on the forehead and then I went over to Aiden and gave him a kiss on the forehead. Charles walked me out and gave me a kiss and told me not to get into any trouble and I laughed and told him that I couldn't promised him that. I went into the change room and Lucy came and talked while I got ready and she asked how the twins were doing and I told her that they were doing good and I asked her how she was doing and she told me that she was good and glad to have me back. We got into roll called and everyone clap and told me that they were glad to see me back to work. We got done with rolled call and William came up to me and asked me to follow him to his office and Lucy followed me and told me that she was going to get the shop ready and I told her ok and told her I wouldn't be long. I got into William office and he told me I could sit if I wanted and I told him that I was good standing." Heather how are you doing," I'm doing good the twins go for their vaccine shot next week and I'm all heal, ready to get back to work," if you need anything let me know," I'll let you know." I got to the shop and Lucy already had everything in the shop and told me that this would be the last week before I got my own shop since I would be graduate from being a rookie and asked me if I was ready and I told her yes. We decided to go and sit by the school to catch vehicle speeding, I look over to the gas station and noticed that someone was trying to break in, I tap Lucy shoulder, and she saw it," why is that we get hit with the action, "I'm going in, call for back up," we go in together," it one guy I'll be fine you, I need you to look around and see if there is anyone that come in behind me," ok." I called in code 2 High (lights without sirens), and I heard a gunshot and request, code 10-33 (Officer in trouble). I went in and Heather had the suspect in custody, and I called in a code 10-15(Suspect in custody), we got the suspect in custody and got him in the car when back-up arrived on scene. William came up and ask if I was hurt, I said no, that he shot me in the vest and he said that he was going to called for an ambulance to come and check me out, the EMTS came, and I got check out and they said that I was fine to go on duty," Heather are you sure that you don't want to head out early," no I'm good to stay," ok." We took the suspect down to the jail and he told me that he was sorry that he shot me, and I told him that he may be sorry, but I also told him he could have face a murder charger if I wasn't wearing my vest and that at the end of the day I have a family to go home to. We got him to jail, and Jim came up to us and ask if I was ok and I told him I was ok and after getting the suspect in booked in jail, we went back on duty. We got done with the shift and heading to the locker room when William asked me to come into the office. He told me to take a seat, and I sat down," Heather how would you feel about going to the high school this afternoon for career choice day," I wouldn't mind but are you want me to go," yes Jim is going to be joining you," ok, what time do I need to be there," you need to be there at 1 pm," ok, and do I wear my uniform," yes and your shift tomorrow will be 8 pm until 8 am," ok," can I take my patrol car home so I don't have to come to the station  first," yes I was just going to tell you that will be just your patrol car," ok, what time do the event end," at 4:00 pm," ok I texted Charles and he said that he would pick up Aiden and Addison up from the school after his shift," ok," I'm going to a head out, I have to go to the gas station to fill the patrol car up," ok be safe," I'll." I got the gas station and pulled to a pump I went to go inside when I noticed that the gas station was be rob, I called into dispatched and said I have a 211(Robbery in progress), dispatched told me to becareful and I told them I would try to. I waited for the person to turn their back, and I put my gun to their back and told them to drop their weapon and the drop it, I asked if anyone was hurt and they said no, I got the person in cuff and called in a code 4(no further assistance needed), I paid for the gas and the lady tried to give me free gas and I told her that I wasn't allowed to take free items and she asked if I could take a coffee and I said yes, she got a large coffee and I thank her and put the suspect in the back of my vehicle, I finished getting gas and radio that I was bring in one person and they said they were waiting on me, I told them I would be there in ten minutes. I got there they had the doors open for me and I got out and walked the suspect in, and they took care of him, I went to the break room to finish the paperwork on the robbery. I was half-way done with the paperwork, when Charles called, and I answer it knowing he probably was wondering where I was." good morning, Charles, everything ok," yes just wondering where you are, you should've been home an hour ago," about that I ran into some trouble getting gas," are you ok," yes I walked in a gas station that were getting rob," how did you catch two robbery in a shift," pure luck the one was after I got off and just wanted to head home," are you coming home after you get done after you get done," going to stop at McDonalds for breakfast, do you wanted anything," yes, a sausage muffin, a harsh brown and a large coffee," ok," tried not to find any more trouble," can't promised that." I got done with the paperwork went and turned it in and head out. I noticed that it was 7 am, I got our food and head home. I noticed that it was almost 7:30 and Charles gave me a hug and a kiss. we got done eating and Charles told me that he a had a babysitter coming over so I could get some sleep and that it was a coworker daughter, I said that was fine, he also said that she would stay until he got off work, so I didn't have to take the twins to the school and that I need to get some rest after getting shot. I got asked if wanted me to stay down here until the babysitter get here and he said yes. I put my gun in the safe and went over to Aiden and Addison and gave them a hug and a kiss. I held them both when Charles came into the living room with a young teenage," Heather, I'm Laura Ryder," is your dad Jim Ryder," yes, he is," he my training officer, you have a great father," thank you," your welcome, have Charles showed you where everything is," not yet," ok Charles go and get ready for work I'll showed here where everything is at," ok." I put the twin in their swing and took Laura into the kitchen and show her where the baby formula and the baby bottles was at, then I took her to the twins nursery and showed her where everything that she might need for them. I asked her if she was good and she told me to get some rest, I thank her and asked here if she need Wi-Fi password for her laptop and she said yes, I gave it to her and told her if she need anything to come and knocked on my door and I showed her what door to go to. I went into the room and got change and climb into bed and Charles came over and gave a kiss and told me he would see me after shift. I set my alarm for 11:30 am so I would have enough time to make lunch and dinner before I left.
