I started to put my books on the book shelve in alphabetical order when Charles came in and sat down." Heather you are supposed to be taken it easy," I'm taken it easy. setting up my office so I can work without having to go around the boxes, when are we leaving," I figure that we can leave in an hour," ok that sound good." I got one box empty when Charles came in and said he was ready to leave. I grab my bag so we could head out, I grab my water bottle and Charles open and shut my door for me, we pull out of the driveway when my phone rung and I saw that it was Athena calling, " hi Athena, how is everything going since you are back home," it is going good, Jasper and the kids are glad that I back home," that good how long have you been away from home," not very long," ok do you protect people a lot," no it was just one time thing," ok then what is that you do for the police station," I'm a deputy and I work patrol either in the day or night," ok, what did else did you need, I know you didn't just call to see how I'm doing," I want to know if you want to come over for dinner tonight," yes I can do that, do you mind if I bring Charles with me," yes Jasper want to see him again," they know each other," yes they were partners before Charles went undercover," ok what time is dinner," dinner will be at 7 pm," ok we will see you then." I hung up the phone up and let Charles know that Athena wanted us at her house for supper and he said that was good. We got to the library and Charles open the door and we walked to the front desk and asked for Alexis, and they told me to hold on that they were going to get her for me. We went to the side to wait for Alexis to come out of the back, we decide that we would go and sit down until she came that if she here. I grab the files out of my bags so I could return them to Alexis and get what the person left for me. Alexis came over and gave me a hug and sat down. I gave her the files on The New Dawn Ship and The Homestead since the files was the library. I gave her a hug good-bye and Charles grab the package and set in the trunk for me and we head to the hospital to check on Zack. We got to the hospital and the nurse took us to a room and said that the doctor would be in to talk to me and I had a feeling that this wouldn't be good news. Charles led me to a couch and sat me down on his lap, I just lay my head down on his chest and inhale his scent. I close my eyes so I could focus on anything at this point, I was just hoping that Zack was going to be ok and that this wasn't bad news that I was going to be receive from the doctor. We sat there for an hour neither one of said anything just held each other letting us both know that we would be ok. I tried to get up when the doctor came in, but Charles pulls me back down on his lap. I tried to get up and he whisper in telling me to sit still and I said told him that I would be fine sitting on the chair, and he just wrap his arm around me so I couldn't move." Dean how is Zack doing," he hasn't made any approvement, but he hasn't got worse either but that not why I wanted to talked to you in private," ok what is wrong," Ava is trying to pull the plug on your father," can Ava do that," yes with being marrying to him she have the right to pull him off of life support if she wanted to," ok but with her being in his prison how can she make that decision," I'm not quite sure how she can, the district attorney is trying to put a stop to her from taking Zack on life support," ok how long until we know anything," the end of the day we should know something," ok it is ok that we go in to see him," not right now," why," Ava is pushing for a restraining order against you," ok is the judge going along with it," no but they have to listen to both side," ok when we will know if it goes through," we should know by the end of the day," ok can you call me if there any change," yes, try to stay positive," I'll try to." Dean left to check on his other patients that he had, Charles walked me to the car and open the door. We got back to the house and Charles open the door for me and I look to see what time it was and noticed that it was 5 so I told Charles that I would be in the kitchen since I wanted to bake chocolate chip brownies to take with us. I was half-way done when Charles came into the kitchen and sat on the stool. " Heather are you ok," that a stupid question, but I'm going to be ok," I'm here if you need to talked," I know, I have the brownies in can you take them out when the timer goes off," yes what I get for taking them out," you get a piece after dinner, and I'll give you a kiss," ok." I went over and gave him a kiss on the cheek, and he pull me into his lap and gave me a look and noticed that I was going to be in trouble. Charles gave me a kiss on the lip, and it turn into a mini make out, I told Charles that I need to get ready for dinner, he gave me one more kiss and I went up to my room and pick out a black jean, with w red tang top, my black leather jacket and my black boot. I got a quick shower and gotten dress, I just finish getting ready when Charles knock and said it was almost time to leave for Athena and I told him I was almost done getting ready. I open up the door and went to the kitchen, I put the brownies in a to go container. Charles carried the brownies and open the door for me and we took off, I text Athena to let her know we were on our way, and she said that they were excited to see us. "Charles where did you put the package that Alexis gave us," I put it in the living room," ok, we can open it when we get home," ok." We got to the house and my phone went off and it was Dean calling me. " Hi Dean," we got a call from the district attorney," ok what happen with Ava request," both got denied, you got full custody over Zack medical decision," ok keep him on life support, we will talk more about it tomorrow," ok." Charles open the door and we knock on the door Athena gave us both a hug and told us to come in. I told her we brought chocolate chip brownies for dessert, and she told us we didn't have to do that, and I told her that we weren't coming empty handed. We went to the kitchen and Jasper came out and gave Charles a hug and gave me a handshake. Jasper asked Charles if wanted to go outside and help him grilled the steak and I told him to go ahead that I would be fine, he came over and gave me a hug and took off with Jasper. Athena told me that we could hang in the living room we sat down on the couch, she asked if I want some wine and I said yes, she left and came back and handed me the glass. Athena got up and meet her parents at the door and told they are welcome to come in and the children ran over to me a gave me a hug and asked if I wanted to see their bedroom and I told them yes. Mandy ask Susan if they could go to her room first and Susan that they could. Mandy room was Snow White theme bedroom, I told Mandy that she has a beautiful bedroom. Susan then took me to her bedroom, and it was Beauty and the beast theme, and I told her that her room was beautiful to and they ask if I want to go to their playroom in the basement and I said yes, and they grab my hand and led me to their playroom. It was Cinderella theme I told them if I had a playroom that it be Cinderella to, they ask if I would play with them and I told them that I would, we play for an hour before Charles came in and Susan and Mandy ran over and gave him a hug and they told me to stay put. They ask Charles if he could play with us, and he said it was time for supper, they ask him to play for five minutes so they could finish playing their game, I watch Charles struggle to say no and I laugh, and he look up and gave me a look that said to behave and that made me laugh even more. Charles said he would give them two minutes and then we had to go and eat supper, they told him that he could be my prince charming and save the day. They explain to him what he had to do, and they said that he had to give me a kiss to wake me up because the evil witch gave me a pear and it was poison, and he ask them if it wasn't an apple they sat there arguing and I laugh and all three of them turned around and told me to be quiet, Charles finally gave in and said ok that it could be a pear and they both cheered. I mumble push over and he gave me a look that I was going to get it when we were by ourselves. Charles told them we have to finish the game before we couldn't they said ok and got back to fight the pretend bad guys when they beat the bad guys. Susan and Mandy told Charles he had to give me a kiss and that it had to be on the lip, he said they had to turn around and they said ok, he walked over and gave me a kiss and they told me to wake up. Charles said we had to quit playing so we could eat dinner, and they said ok but were sad about it but didn't argue with him. We walk to the door and Athena came in and ask what was taking us so long, so we told her, and she laugh like I did. We follow her out but before I could exit Charles whisper something in Athena ear and then shut the door, I turn to hide but Charles was to fast and caught me and trap me against the wall." Heather you should know when I give you that look you behave and don't say nothing," it was funny," just wait until we get home," sure," sure just dig yourself into a deeper hole," not afraid," you should be." Athena knock on the door and said everyone was hungry. I was able to sneak out of the room before Charles could stop me, Athena loops her arm through mine and told me a playing with fire and I told her I know. We reach the table and Susan and Mandy wanted me to sit in between them, so I did, and Charles sat beside Jasper. We were eating our food and Susan and Mandy ask if they could come home with us, Athena told them not tonight as it was school night for them maybe on a weekend that we aren't busy, and they both were sad that they couldn't, so I told them maybe during the week that I wasn't busy I would come over and play with them and they cheered. I help Athena clean up the table while Jasper and Charles play with the girls. Athena ask if she could ask me a few questions and I told her she could. We finish clean up when Charles can Jasper came in the kitchen. Charles asked if I was ready to head home and I said yes, Athena came over and gave me a hug and the girls came over and gave me a big hug and told me to come back soon, I told them that I would be back soon as I could, and they said they couldn't wait for me to come back and play with them. Charles open the door for me and I told him thank you and we drove off. We got to the house and Charles open the door and told me that I had five minutes to hide from him and if found me that I wouldn't be getting much sleep if he caught me. I ran to my study, and I found a secret place that I could fit into. I close it I heard the front door open I could see that he came in and went back out I laugh when he walked past and he stop, shit I hope he keep on going and he did. I keep on hearing him open everything to try to find me and it was way past the five minutes. I knew that I should come out of my hide hole, but I couldn't bring myself to come out. I shut my phone off, so it didn't ring or light up. I could hear him upstairs. I heard him call my name and I didn't answer him because if I did, he would have found me. I sat down waiting for him to find me and I know he had to be done searching the house, wonder how mad he is getting that he lost the game he was playing or was I just playing with fire.
