The servants, Juleka, and the few others who had survived the wrath of the evil deceased queen, Lila, were all busy helping prepare the palace for the wedding. They were thrilled to have such a happy event here, especially in light of all the death, and destruction they had sustained around them in the past.  Adrien and Marinette's nuptials were just the thing to bring life back into the place. The fairies were invited which surprised them, but Marinette Snow White requested it.

Kali was happy to assist with this since she was to receive a mother after the ceremony was over. She did want to be a good daughter. She did not know the least bit about having a mom. She imagined it would be grand.

As the servants added flowers and ribbons to Princess, Kali's hair she smiled. This would be one memory she would treasure forever. She continued to grin as they helped her with the dress and handed her the shoes to match. "Ooh, is this my wedding attire?  I do love it." She said. She twirled. She thought it looked dashing. "Yes, Princess, Kali, it is to be worn at the nuptials," Juleka said.  Kali's face frowned, she did hate it when people would go about using such big words.  What did they mean by such a thing?

" You are dismissed now, Miss Juleka," Kali said. Juleka left the room. She entered the queen's chamber glad to see the lady was awake. She would have preferred not to awaken her. "Queen Marinette Snow White, May I assist you with your wedding garments?" Juleka asked. "Yes, you may, It is only because it is a special occasion."  "Yes, your majesty."

The queen smiled as the lady servant placed the white flowy material over her head. She liked how it fit her so well. The dress had been her mother's. She was glad the dead rotten stepmother of her's had not gotten her grimy hands on it. She dreaded to think what would have become of it otherwise. She stepped into her shoes, combed her hair, let the servants braid it, and added a few flowers and ribbons. Some traditions were meant to be kept. Some were meant to be broken.

The music was sounded to let those who arrived know the ceremony was about to begin. Adrien stood up front with a few men beside him that he asked to be part of the event, Nino the fairy man, James the guard, Gerald another guard, Lewis a knight,  and Jack another knight.  The flower girl, Kali the lovely princess arrived next tossing white rose petals. She was followed by the maid of honor, Alya the fairy lady, the bridesmaids, Miss Juleka, Miss Carolina, Miss Kara, Miss Phylis, and finally, Miss Kagami. She was the lady who had been found after she had been missing for years.

The music changed as the bride approached. The queen looked beautiful as ever in her adornment, but Adrien felt she took his breath away no matter what. He was grateful she had not forgotten their plans. He thought maybe she had a first, but she was standing before him ready to commit to him.  The one to perform the ceremony was the bride's grandfather, Mr. Carl Johnson-who was not her grandfather in the normal sense- a friend of the family but rather old, and he was the royal pastor.

Those who were uninvited or refused to attend, for any reason could hear the bells as they rang in the distance, except for the few deaf ones in the village. They felt silly for not being there. "Is that Wedding chimes, or bells I hear?" A grumpy elf asked. "Yes, dear, I do believe it is for the royal queen and king,"  His wife replied.

Adrien exchanged vows with Marinette then it was her turn. As they finished each had the ring on the finger the other one had placed on it as a symbol of their love and commitment. "I pronounce you  King Adrien and Queen Marinette Snow White Agreste, you may now kiss the bride," The pastor stated. Adrien lifted her veil and kissed her. She kissed him.

Those in attendance cheered for the royal couple. Those far-off, booed, wept, or stood around like nothing happened. It depended on who it was.

Kali remained home with the servants while the queen and king left for their honeymoon. She had no idea what that meant only that she was not invited. She looked forward to seeing them upon their return.
