Lila goes to consult the magic mirror, the same one she stole years ago. She wants to find out answers to Snow White's whereabouts.
Little does she know the mirror picks up the traits of those who speak to it.
This means since she is a wicked, lying, thief, and a cold-hearted queen the mirror will tell her a lie since it knows that is what she wants to hear.
It also means if a servant who is truthful and kind-hearted, or the princess herself even in disguise were to speak to it they would receive honest, trustworthy news because there heart is pure.
Another thing, she does not know is the voice of the mirror is a real person that was cursed with being a mirror because of their great vanity in the past.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?" The Wicked Queen Lila asks.
"You are oh queen!" The mirror answers with a lie.
"Well, then, where is Snow White my arch enemy and stepdaughter's whereabouts?" She asks next.
She dwells in the woods with the seven men known as the seven drawfs, your majesty," The mirror states.
Lila laughs her sinister laugh because she has such hatred toward her stepdaughter. She begins to plot a way to rid herself of the girl once and for all.
She calls for the Huntsman, but he is nowhere to be found. Turns out he was so afraid of the queen he went off somewhere never to be heard of again.
She pouts and thinks, hmm, now what? She knows she can not question him at all. She misses her beloved Crow who died a few weeks ago in a tragic accident.
It seems he had flown into the moat that surrounds the castle and was snapped up by one of the many hungry crocodiles that leave inside the moat. The only remains of him were his tail feathers.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell me what must I do to rule overall in the land?" Lila demands to know.
"You must rule it with a firm and harsh hand as you usually do then will you become the ruler over the entire kingdom," The mirror tells her.
Lila laughs an evil laugh as the answer pleases her and she goes on with her day as usual.
Someone overheard her conversation with the mirror, but she does not know this at all.
The wicked queen leaves the room at once. She must go look up ways to rid yourself of a public nuisance once and for all.
