SOPHIE'S POV:
I woke up in a pair of strong arms, and I immediately pulled myself closer to the body.
"Good morning.." Zayn mumbled, running a hand through my hair.
I turned my body to look at him, but pain shot through me and I let out a whimper.
"What hurts?" Zayn asked, suddenly off the bed and by my side.
I winced as I turned to see him and saw his concerned eyes searching over my body for any injuries.
"My stomach.. Oh my god." I mumbled, the pain suddenly getting much worse.
Zayn quickly ran to my bathroom and searched for some tablets I could take. I noticed Zayn had changed me into one of his t shirts and I now had a large gauze pad on my stomach where the man had stabbed me. Luckily, it wasn't deep enough that I needed to go to a hospital, but it still hurt like a bitch.
"Take this," Zayn instructed me, handing me a cup of water and two tablets.
I slowly sat up, and Zayn put his arm on my back, helping me sit upright.
Once I was up, I swallowed the tablets and laid my head against my headboard. My stomach hurt, and so did my arms, waist and cheek. He had handled me so aggressively. I was in so much pain.
"Zayn, it hurts so bad.." I accidentally whined, tears springing to my eyes.
I didn't mean to say it out loud, not wanting to worry him at all. But it just slipped out.
Zayn sat beside me and instructed me to lay down, and I did so.
"Is this okay?" He asked me cautiously as he slowly lifted my shirt.
I nodded and let him continue. He pulled my shirt up to the top of the bandage and slowly started to rub the area, gently massaging it.
It did help, but the pain was still unbearable.
"Baby I'm so sorry.. If there was any way that I could feel the pain for you, I would.." Zayn mumbled, worry clear in his voice.
I nodded and moved my body so I was laying my head in his lap. He gently continued to massage my stomach, and I soon fell into a deep sleep.
ZAYN'S POV:
Soon, Sophie was asleep. I kept rubbing and massaging her stomach, hoping I could bring the pain down, but I could tell it still hurt. You could see an upset look on her face while she slept, it even hurt her in her sleep.
I couldn't stand seeing her in so much pain. She could barely move without tears falling from her eyes.
I shouldn't have left her alone. Not when I'm aware of the fact that there's people after her, and people who know where she lives. I should be the one in this pain, not her. I meant it when I said that if I could feel the pain for her, I would. I really would.
One thing's for sure, I'm going to kill the fucker who did this to my girl. He went too far with me. Everyone knows not to mess with what's mine, especially Randy. I know Randy's the one behind this all. It's obvious. And I thought he'd be smarter to know not to lay a hand on her. Especially if he wants her for his business..
That's why this situation doesn't make sense. Randy would hate it when his "girls" had any sort of injuries. He said it didn't bring the men in. So why would he have someone hurt her?
I gently laid Sophie's sleeping body down and stood up, starting to walk to her bathroom to get more gauze for her stomach. But something caught my eye.
