Chapter 1: Accustom

It was going to be extremely difficult for this man to listen to me; it was a mistake, a stupid mistake that cost him, his expensive suit and me, my blueberry yoghurt.

I almost collapsed when the yoghurt poured on him. It was a mistake, a stupid mistake that might cost me my job. At a snap of his fingers I could get fired, just for pouring yoghurt on him.

I just stared at the stain on his suit. Not wanting to look at his face. I didn't want to imagine the look on his face, I didn't want to imagine the things he would yell at me and though running away would have been my best option, pride prevented me from doing so.

I waited for him to speak, we had been standing in this exact same position for minutes and he still hadn't said anything. Even without looking at his face, I knew he was angry, the way his chest heaved was enough proof, but this silence was killing me.

There is some particular type of people in this world, the ones you should never mess with and he was one of them. I know who he is, the kind of power he possessed, that was why I was more shaken up than I am originally supposed to be.

Who the hell in Oregon didn't know this man? He was one of the leading multi-millionaires in the States, he was feared, respected and honored. People literally bowed before him, worshipped him, he was like a god, yet he only a twenty four year old.

Why the hell wasn't he saying anything? He should at least yell at me or something, because this silence was deafening. Stagnancy on my part wasn't helping my situation but shock wouldn't allow me to move. It got me pinned.

What do I do now?

My question was answered when he shot his hand out and pulled the tissue of my hands, causing me to flinch out of surprise. I took a step back and watched him as he used the tissue to rub the stain of his suit.

Going against my better judgment, I stared up at the man who was as tall as a pine tree. He towered over me easily, his height intimidating.

But one thing I know for sure as I stared at him was that he was completely beautiful. I knew he was handsome when I saw him in magazines and his pictures in articles but staring at him in person, lord have mercy.

He had bright green eyes, too bright for the cold look on his face, if you ask me, with pink kissable lips and a jawline that could cut glass. His chestnut colored hair were a mop of curls on top his head wouldn't look professional on anyone that isn't him.

He was devilishly handsome and I am pretty sure that he knows it. Apart from that, he is rude, inconsiderate, cruel and arrogant. It was painful to know that as good-looking he was, his character was horrible.

I was caught staring at him when he looked away from his suit, his green eyes staring into mine but it was more as if he was staring into my soul with the intensity of his gaze.

His face was emotionless, his eyes burning with anger and irritation which I was hundred percent sure I had caused. I could tell that his patience was running out and I could only bring myself to say what I thought was befitting.

"I am so sorry," I said before I could stop myself.

"Shut up," he snapped, his husky voice causing all the hair at the back of my neck to stick up. Another thing to add his sexy looks, his British accent.

I tap my foot down on the ground continuously, not knowing what else to do. What the hell did he want from me? He wouldn't let me apologize yet he was keeping me here, not allowing me to do anything to help. Well, not that I offered anyways.
