Facing the Fears

ANGIE'S P.O.V

Once we reached the venue there it was. Slipknots tour bus along with Devildriver. Slipknot wasn't sharing tour buses since they were a big group. The bands were standing outside in a circle, we parked behind Slipknots tour bus. I grabbed my jacket and put it on. Slipknot was wearing there uniform since we had to do a meet and greet at 12:00 but they didn't have the makeup or their masks on.

"Dez!" MJ said as he open the door. He walked to Dez and did their so-called hand shake.

"This is so weird" I whispered to myself thinking no one heard me since I was the last one getting off the bus, when suddenly a voice came from behind me making me jump.

"Sorry"

I turned to see Matt.

"Gosh! You scared me, I thought I was the last one but no" I said joking.

"Why is it weird?" He asked.

We were the only ones on the bus since everyone else got off.

"Everything about it, Corey, Slipknot, them" I said.

"Well don't let it bothering you, your doing this cause you love it and for the fans, that's the important part" he said. I loved matts accent, it was so beautiful and memorizing.

"I guess your right" I said as he pulled me in for a hug. The way his arms wrapped around my waist. Goodness this man was something else.

"Quick making out in there" I heard Alexan yell.

I pulled away from Matt.

"We better go out or those thoughts come to mind and I don't want MJ to think otherwise" I said as I walked of the bus and there all eyes were on me. I walked off and walked towards Dez.

"Good to see the Angel" he said giving me a hug.

"It's been awhile" I said.

Dez was like a father to me since I joined the band. He was like my touring father who, like the rest of the band, was protective over me.

"Everything okay?" He asked looking concerned.

"Yeah everything is fine" I said with a smile on my face. I knew he didn't really buy all the happiness, but he had to.

"Okay kiddo" he said.

I walked to Jim who was my other brother.

"Hey empire" I said referring to his height. He was so tall compared to me.

"Shorty" he said giving me a hug.

"Glad your here" he said.

"Corey okay?" I asked looking up at him.

"He's alright, I don't think he likes Matt"

I was confused then I remembered the statement Alexan made earlier when Matt and I were on the bus.

"He always finds something to be mad or hate about, and sometimes I don't get that" I said standing by Jim as the rest of the bands were giving hugs and shakes.

"Is Stacy here?" I said looking up at Jim.

"Yeah she's in the bus"

"Alright, thanks I'll talk to you later bud" I said walking to the Slipknot bus and knocking on the bus door. I waited then Stacy opened it.

"Hey come in!" She squealed.

Once I got in and closed the door, she hugged me. She was in the bus putting on her makeup so she was usually the last one out.
