Bella's Younger Sister

Chapter 20

It is about six in the morning, Seth is snoring in my ear, and I am watching the menu screen for Snow White and the Huntsman. Now one might ask, 'Why don't you get up or press play?' The answer to that is, I am trapped by Seth's arms. They are wrapped tight around me so I can't move. I look at my watch and I am good for about another hour. I really need to go to the bathroom though. I turn around in his arms and start poking his nose, like Spongebob does to Squidward in Spongebob Squarepants. He isn't walking up so I try to pry his arms off of me, but they are too tight. I finally give up and just slap his arm. It was hard enough to make a sound, and yet, he still didn't wake up. "SETH!" I yell.

He jumps and his eyes shoot open. He looks at me before smiling. I smile back at him and say, "Sorry for yelling, but I need to go to the bathroom."

"Sorry here." He unwraps his arms and rolls onto his other side. I shake my head and head into my bathroom. I do my business, and go to my night stand to take my medicine. Seth is snoring again so I grab the clothes that he borrowed out from my bag and start to clean my room up. It's not that messy, but it is not clean enough for me. After cleaning my room I go and make breakfast. I take out eggs, bacon, milk, pancake mix, things to make chocolate chip muffins and french toast. I am really hungry today. I start on the muffin mix before I decide that it is to quiet, so I go to my room, grab my Nickleback Cd, and put it in the T.v. I turn it up, not loud enough to wake Seth up, but loud enough for me to hear it in the Kitchen while cooking. I sing along to the songs and make breakfast.

After the batch batch of muffins are in the oven, I start on the pancake mix. I mix everything together, and then start to cook them. Halfway done with breakfast, the Cd ends so I take it out, and go in my room to grab another Cd. When I walk into my room, I see Seth spread out on my bed, with his arms hanging off the sides. I smile and grab a random CD. I put it in and continue on breakfast. I put the food that is already done, besides the muffins because they have to cool, in the oven to keep it warm. I set the table while I finish up the bacon and grab the butter, syrup, and Orange Juice out of the fridge.

With all of the food, plates, and silverware on the table I go and wake Seth up. First I push his shoulder calling his name, nothing. Next I try shouting his name, still nothing. Finally I just pounce on him. Usually his eye's just shoot open, but since he was on his stomach, he jumps up, with me also going in my air and landing on the floor. "Owwww."

"Oh my god Maya, are you okay!" Seth quickly gets up and comes over to me. He helps me up and I am rubbing my back.

"Yeah, that just hurt," I hit him on the arm, "Why did you jump?!"

"Why did I. Are you serious? You jumped on my back!"

"Yeah, to wake you up for breakfast," I say, "God that hurt."

"I am really sorry Maya."

"It's fine. Next time wake up when I shout your name or you wont get breakfast."

"Got it. Now, lets go eat." I roll my eyes and we go to the kitchen and eat. I hear thunder and see lightning out of the corner of my eye. Soon it is pouring so hard that you would barely be able to see in front of you if you were outside. I look out the window and see Bella's orange truck pull in to the driveway. We were in the middle of putting everything away when she comes in and starts dripping water on the floor. I start to go crazy because she just took her shoes off, and went upstairs. I waited for a few minutes to see if she would come down to lean it up, but she never did. That makes me mad. I mean, she just left a puddle of water on the floor in front of the door.

I grab a towel from the basket in the laundry room and mop up the water. I go to my room, and grab my laundry basket. I open the washer and notice Bella's clothes, unwashed, in the washer. I scream inside my mouth and start her laundry. Seth, hearing me scream, comes in and asks what's wrong.

"I need to get away from her for a few day's. I can not deal with her right now. First, she ditched on our sisters day, which was her idea in the first place. Then she comes in and drips a puddle of water on the floor. I could handle that if she came back to clean it up, which she didn't so that made me a little mad. Then, I walk in here, planning on washing my clothes, and she just put her clothes in the washer, not starting them or anything, and leaves them. I can not deal with this right now."

"Calm down. You go and pack a bag for my house, I will finish up cleaning the kitchen."

"Thanks Seth." I give him a hug and go get dressed, and pack my bag. "Okay, I am ready."

"I just called my mom. She said that my dad is on his way over here to pick us up."

"Okay." We sit on the couch and watch Criminal Minds until his dad got here. "I can't wait until I get my permit."

"Me either."

"At least you can get it next week. I have to wait months!" He laughs at me and there is a knock on the door. Before either one of us could get up, Bella was at the door.

"Hey Harry."

"Hello, is my kid and your sister here?"

"Yeah. Maya, Seth, Harry is here." Seth and I get up, I turn off the T.v, and he grabs my bag, and we follow Harry out to the truck. Seth sits in the back with me, so I don't get lonely is what he said. When we get to his house, we go up to his room and play some video games. There isn't really much to do on a stormy day.
