Bella's Younger Sister

Chapter 35

We spent over $300.00 at the store. I know that we can't afford it. The other day I was watching this TV show, Extreme Coupons, it sounds like something that we should try, that way we can spend very few dollars on food, but still walk out with a bunch of food. I brought it up in the car, he said that it sounds like a good idea, but he will have to think about it. School is starting next month so I have to ask dad if I can go to the Rez. He will most likely say no, but you never know, "Hey dad, I was wondering, can I go to school on the Rez, with Jake and Seth?"

"Maya, I wouldn't mind if you had a ride there and back everyday."

"Jake said that one of the guys could give me a ride. Please!! I don't think I can handle being around Bella and her boyfriend for eight hours a day."

"I will think about it. That's not a yes. I will give you a definite answer soon though." He pulls onto the lawn and I smile. I can't belive that I might be going to school with Seth!

"Oh, Seth invited me to a bonfire next week, can I go?"

"Yeah, are you going to stay the night?"

"Depending on when it gets over."

"Okay, now help me finish bringing these in the house." I smile and grab some bags. My cell phone vibrates in my back pocket. I take it out and see a text from Seth,

From: Seth
To: Maya

I miss you!

I smile and reply back,

To: Seth
From: Maya

I miss you too! I will text you later though, I have to finish bringing in the groceries before dad kills me.

He replies back okay and says I love you. I reply I love you too, and finish helping dad. It takes us about two hours to unload and put all of the groceries away. I am tired and don't want to do anything else. "What's for dinner?"

"I have no Idea. Cook something" dad say's. I groan and look through the cupboards. We just bought a lot of groceries and yet, I can't find anything to eat.

"I would say we have nothing to eat, but instead I am going to say, I don't feel like cooking!"

"Then make a sandwich." I groan again but make a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich. I make dad one too and grab us each a soda and small bag of ships. We watch one of the games while we eat dinner. I am practically falling asleep on the couch so dad picks me up and lays me down in my bed. "Good night sweetie."

Once he closes the door I text Seth telling him to come over and sneak in my window! I don't really care if dad catches him or not, I tell him that I am getting in the shower and to just to climb into the bed. After I take my shower and get changed into my and take my medicine. I walk out to my bedroom and see Seth laying on my bed.

"Just so you know, your dad know's that I am here and he wants the bedroom door to be left open all night." Seth say's, "He is going to be sleeping on the couch tonight to make sure nothing happens."

"How does he know that you are here?"

"Bella told him that I was coming over and I was going to be sneaking through your window so your dad meet me outside."

"How did she- Edward! He's here, isn't he?"

"Yeah, was when I got here and still is." I tell him that I will be right back and stomp up stairs. I pass dad on the way to the stairs and he just smiles at me. I smile back and barge into Bella's room.

"Okay, I don't care if your boyfriend reads my mind, but keep it to your self. It's none of your business if my boyfriend spends the night here or not without dad knowing. Yours does every night." I slam the door shut behind me and go back downstairs. If you can't tell, I am a little upset right now, I mean, just because someone can read minds doesn't give him the right to tell my sister so she can get me or my boyfriend in trouble. That is just not right. I go over to the T.V stand and grab The Bodyguard. I love Kevin Causner. He is a really great actor. "Okay, night dad, see you in the morning."

"See you in the morning sweetheart." I give him a hug and go into my room. I put the movie in and make sure my window is shut and locked. I am not taking any chances now that I know that their are vampires in the world. I walk over to Seth and slip my slippers off. He grabs me by my waist and pulls me on top of him. I laugh, then lean down and kiss him. His hands slide to my waist and rolls us over so he is on top of me. "Break it up you two!" Dad yells. I couldn't help but laugh. I press play on the remote and fall asleep before the we get 5 minutes into the movie, cuddled up in Seth's arms.
