The well was so beautiful. It had small purple and pink flowers around it and bright green moss growing on it. Ruby was next to the leaver thing.
" what do you want?" I asked her. She pointed (with her beak) to the leaver.
" do you want me to pull up the bucket?" She nodded " ok" I walked over and pulled it up and bit suspicious . I looked into the bucket and inside was a moon necklace. So what do I do, I'm in the middle of the woods, brought here by an owl griffin. I put the necklace on. Best idea in the world. Not.
" Jessica you now hold to power of many angels." I jumped and looked and Ruby. No way.
" that necklace will give you many different powers, but you must earn them. Only people worthy of this power are chosen and you are one of them. In the future you will face a great danger. You will need to master these powers before then and defeat the evil one" my mouth was wide open. This is amazing.
" who is the evil one?" I asked.
" I don't know I just got told that from the elder. You will find that out in the future." She laughed.
" this is great now it will be easier for me to command you" Ruby ran up to me and tackled me to the ground.
" yes it is now we better get going, I will talked to you about your powers later on, when you are almost ready" I nodded.
" yes, ok Ruby" I hit my leg twice and we were in the air.
" OK BOYS COME AND ASSEMBLE IN THE LANDING AREA" I shouted. The sun was going down. I landed and tried to find Curtis.
" hey Sky where's"
" he's over there Jessica" interrupted Ruby.
" never mind sky" he looked at me weirdly and I walked over to Curtis.
" hay, cool necklace. Where did you get that?" I grabbed it and started looking at it.
" I got it from a well in the woods. Any way so are you men ready ?" I said. I grabbed his hand and walked over to the edge. I went to point were we were going to start but I slipped, I saw Ruby shoot down towards me.
" turn around quick" said Ruby. I turned so if I landed my belly would hit first. But luckily Ruby got me and flew me back up.
" thanks Ruby. Any way back to what I was saying" Curtis stopped me.
" are you sure your ready for this?" He had both hands on my shoulder and stood straight in front of me.
" yes I am. Why are you so worried?" I asked. He huffed and pulled me in to a hug.
" thousands of men have died from this beast. I just want you to be safe." I pulled away and looked into his eyes.
" hay my dad is coming in two days to see my progress. So I have to stay alive and I have you and Ruby. Also by the way I will defiantly be safe because I can"
" don't tell him Jessica. I will tell you why later" Ruby screeched. (P.s. Only Jessica can here her talk it just sounds like screeching to everyone else).
" you can what?" He asked.
" I meant I have trained Ruby even better so now I don't need this whistle and just before I didn't call her she came by herself" I smiled. It made him smile.
" ok are you to love birds finished. My men are waiting" sky rudely interrupted. We coughed and laughed.
"Yes when we land 2 of my men will fly to your men sky and make sure the net is ready, Curtis your team will be in the sky ready just incase something bad happens." I said. I patted my leg twice and Ruby got on.
" ok my team head out let's locate these beasts. Jessica please be carful." I nodded and Curtis flew off.
" my team let's go. Jessica's team wait for my signal we will fly right on top on the beast so follow Jessica's command." He went to fly off.
" see you when we finish" He looked at me and nodded.
" you guys are so cute" whispered Ruby. I laughed and turned to my men.
" ok now we wait for the signal. So let's practice the signals. What dose this one mean?" I clenched my hand and raised it.
" Stop" they all shouted. I held my hand up but pointed to the left.
" there's the signal" shouted James.
" yes I know it's the signal but which one is it" James grunted and turned me around " oh, ok men let's go follow me. Ruby fly" he flew down and landed about a soccer field length away. I did the signal for the two men to go and they left. We were slowly walking up to it. I held my fist up, I could here something coming to wards us. I pointed to the left and right. We split. I turned around and saw Kobi. He nodded and we continued. I could see all the men jumping from branch to branch. I then held my fist up and even the men in the trees stop. I pointed towards us because I could see the beast. We were about. I looked at Ruby.
Jessica we can use telepathy you know. No I didn't Ruby anyway are you ready to run next to me or fly because of it chases us then I will tell you weather or not to run or fly. Ok I'm ready.
I continued walking and soon we were in front of the beast. Everyone was ready to shoot the tranquilizers.
" FIRE" I shouted. The beast was hit, but I didn't do anything. I walked a little closer and it opened one eye.
" get ready Ruby, I'm gonna run west" I said it got up. I looked it in the eye and shot it again. Then I started running. The beast was following me and I could see in the distance Angels, flying everywhere.
"GET REA" I couldn't finish because the baby beast was in front of them and came towards me.
" go north Jessica" said Ruby.
" KOBI GET OUT OF HERE" I shouted. I couldn't tell if he left or not, but I continued to run.
" Jessica they are coming. I don't know this part of the woods so just go any where." She said.
" ok well there is a small cave there I'm going to jump in" I jumped in before she could answer and I heared a loud crack as I landed on my back. The beasts ran into the small entrance, they tried to reach in but after no success the ran of in a different direction.
" Jessica help. My wing, it's broken" cried Ruby.
" oh my god I'm am so sorry I just wanted to get some where safe. Umm I'll go find some wood and vines" I walked to the cave entrance.
" no wait they could still be out there. Just wait a bit." I turned around and walked to her.
" ok we better keep warm" we cuddled up and fell asleep. It was nice in this cave.
