I looked down and the fire and saw Jason and Cameron cutting up the deer. I vomited in my mouth. Ruby flew up and sat next to me.
" so what type of powers do I have ?" I asked.
" you have light power. You can pretty much do anything" said Ruby. " hah they must be burning the deer, it smells like smoke." She laughed. I looked down at the fire the boys were still cutting it up. I looked up and took in a breathe. It smelt strong of smoke. There wasn't any smoke behind me, When I turned to look in front of me, I quickly fell back as a arrow shot past my ear.
" Where did that come from?" I shouted.
" what?" Said Curtis, as he flew up towards me. Before he got close Ruby pushed him out of the way and just missed an arrow.
" What's happening?" Jason shouted. I loaded my bow and shot a devil.
" come take a look" I said standing on the branch. They all flew up and looked.
" Grab your weapons and let's go, they are attacking the village again" said Curtis and we all flew off. We got to the village really quick. There were Devils flying everywhere, we landed in the trees and walked towards the town.
" what's the plan?" I whispered.
" we are going to sneak into the village and kill all the devils, also look for any survivors" he said. We walked together and killed every devil we came past. Ruby flew up and killed a lot of them, she was good at it. She would bite them and smashed them on the ground.
" blech devil tastes bad" she screeched. I held in a giggle and continued to walked, we past some house and I could hear sniffles.
" can you hear that?" I whispered.
" no, what is it?" Asked Jason. I walked into the house and the sniffles got louder.
" Hello?" I said. The sniffles instantly stopped. "Hello, I promise I won't hurt you please come out" I said. I went around the corner and saw a little girl huddled in the corner. She had smoke all over her body and was cuddling a teddy bear. Her wings were covered in so much dirt that I couldn't see the real colour.
" Hello" I smiled. " I'm princess Jessica" I said and her face lit up. " what's your name?" I lowered my bow and gave it to Ruby. I slowly walked over to her and sat down next to her.
" M-my name I-is Rosey" she whispered.
" Hi Rosey, where is your family?" I asked. She couldn't answer because she started to ball out her eyes." Oh it's ok." Then I heard some Devils. " hey Rosey, look at me" she lifted her small face but her black curls fell in her face. " You have to me very quiet ok and you are going to come with us and be very quiet. Ok?" I said. She nodded, but didn't move.
" I-I can't move" she whispered.
" Why?" I asked. She then showed me
her hidden leg. It was cut up right down to the bone.
" oww, ok just wait here with Ruby ok. Ruby come here." She walked over and sat next to Rosey. I got up and walked to Curtis.
" Dose any one have a bandage?" I asked.
" what did you do this time?" Asked Curtis.
" it wasn't me, Rosey needs it" I said putting my hands up.
" Here" said Jason as he gave me his.
" Thanks" I said and walked off. " Ok Rosey I need you to be a good girl now, ok, I'm going to wrap up your leg and it might hurt just don't scream or the Devils will come back." She nodded and I began to wrap it up.
" Jessica there are some more coming we need to leave now" whispered shouted Curtis.
" Hang on I'm almost finished. There, hop on my back and I will carry you, just don't let go ok" I said and she hopped on.
" come on" we walked out of the building.
Jessica use your powers, just think of it. I thought about what she told me, I will give it a try on the next devil.
" Devil 3 o'clock" screeched Ruby. I put my hand up and a silent blast of light come out and killed the devil.
" How did you do that?" Asked Curtis.
" I don't know" I answered. " maybe it happened-" I hit another one "when I got my golden wings." I finished.
" Well hello princess" boomed the load screechy voice " I see you have found a survivor....... Surprisingly."
" What are you doing Monique?" I shouted.
" I am destroying a town, duh " she said and flew down in front of me. I shot a light ball at her and she went flying backwards.
" That's so awesome" laughed Jason. We ran over to her and tied her up.
" Now we have their leader-" Monique interrupted me with her laughed.
" Leader!hahaha you think I'm the leader of all the devils! Hahahahaaaaa oh princess you crack me up" she laughed. I looked at Curtis, and he was just staring at her with a straight face. Rosey tucked her face into my neck.
" Who is the leader then?" Grumbled Curtis. She continued to laughed, then Devils shot around us. Make a force Field Jessica. I did what she said and the Devils don't knocked out when they touched it.
" answer the question?" I asked, unfazed about the Devils. Monique stopped laughing and looked me straight in the eye.
" You ask who is the leader of all the Devils you ask" she got up and I aimed an arrow at her. " The leader of all Devils is of course .... The big man himself. Lucifer" she said and bowed down .
"How?" I said " my Father killed him years ago" I put the shield down, there were no more Devils.
" Yea your dad fought him but he didn't kill him, he almost did though" she laughed. Devil 3 o'clock Jessica. I put my hand up and shot it without looking.
" Tie her up and let's go " said Curtis. I turned my back to Monique and started to walk away.
" you think this is going to help" shouted Monique. I stopped dead in my tracks. " This is just the start of his plan, he's going to get you and steal your powers and there is nothing you can do to stop him" she laughed. I turned around and started to think.
" Rosey can you get down from my back and sit next to me please" I whispered, and she did it. What are you doing Jessica.
" This was to easy Curtis" I said. He walked over to me.
" I know" he replied. I looked around. No Devils only Monique.
" wait here with Rosey" I said and flew straight up. I was right, this was to easy. There were Devils coming and they were coming fast.
" Curtis we need to go NOW" I said and flew down. I put Rosey on my back.
" why?" He asked.
" I will tell you on the way. Jason and Cameron bring Monique and let's go, hurry" I said " hold on tight Rosey" and I flew off, with Ruby beside me and Curtis.
" where did they all come from?" He asked.
" I don't know?" I said.
" they know you have me, they will attack your city to save me" shouted Monique. I shot Monique with a light ball and knocked her out.
" you killed her" whispered shouted Curtis.
" No I just knocked her unconscious" I laughed.
