" Jessica" said someone as they shook me. I grunted and rolled over , onto my sore shoulder. " oww" I started crying. The person rolled me back over and sat me up. I opened my eyes and saw Curtis, there was also Food.
" OMG FOOD" I shouted as I jumped up and ran to it. Ruby was already stuffing her face with meat.
" haha good morning to you too" laughed Curtis.
" good morfing" I mumbled. I was so hungry.
" hay, you know how your dad is coming today" said Curtis.
" mhmm" I stuffed my face. There was chicken, bacon and eggs and cake.
" well there is going to be a ball and the doctors want to put a brace on your arm, because there is a small fracture. And they want it to heal fast." As soon as he said that I stopped eating and looked at him. Swallowing, I replied,
" ok, so when do they want to put on the brace? When dose my dad arrive? When is the ball? And what is it for?" I asked as I wiped my face. Curtis didn't answer, all he did was look down at his feet. I walked over to him and cupped his face with me hands and made him look at me.
" Curtis. Please answer the question?" I looked into his eyes.
" ok, they want to put the brace on now before you do anything. Your dad will arrive lunch time, the ball is later tonight and the ball is for you to find a prince." That last bit made my heart shatter.
" oh my god. I will have to tell my dad as soon as he arrives." The door slammed open.
" tell me what as soon as I arrive" thundered my dad.
" dad" I ran up to him and hugged him. Ruby did the same thing.
" it's nice to see you know what did you want to tell me" he asked. I looked at Curtis and then stood in front of my dad.
" ok well you know how you said that I had to marry a prince?" I said. Curtis was next to me now.
" yea, go on" my dad looks confused.
" well I already for someone"
" great" he said.
" but he's not a prince" i said. And my dad instantly slouched.
" who is it?" He looked discussed.
" Commander Curtis" I said pointing to him. I was trying to keep a smile on my face. Then my dad straighten up and walked towards Curtis, his face looked angry. I stepped aside as he was right in front of Curtis. My dad's face was straight, and I could see Curtis was worried. We just stood there in silence.Then my dad sucked in a big gulp of air and ..... WHAT?.... Did my dad just ... OMG. He hugged Curtis. I looked at Ruby her beak was wide open.
" you are more worthy than any prince. You will be great as my daughters husband. But if you break her heart, I'll break yours." my dad said, as he shook his hand. " ok well could you take Jessica to the doctors they are waiting to get the brace on."
" yes sir" he said as he walked over to me.
" oh Ruby, would you like some help down?" My dad doesn't sound deadly, dose he. He picked her up and flew down with us and then left.
" I will see you tonight at the ball" he called as he flew away. The doctors put the brace on.
" so we tried to make it look good. This brace will go with everything. And now you can move your arm normally, with only a little pain" said doctor Phil, (picture at the start).
" it's great thank you. I love the little flowers on it, who designed it?" I asked. Then Jackson walked in.
" right on que like always. He came up to us and showed us this design. At first we did to want to do it but then he said"
" Everything a princess wears needs to match. But since you don't wear a lot of matching clothes. This is the perfect design for you" laughed Jackson. I ran up to him and hugged him.
" thank you. Oh and how long will Ruby be in that for?" I pointed to her.
" both of you for about 5 weeks. Ok now I would go get ready, the princes will be arriving soon." We walked out and Curtis flew me up and went back down to get Ruby. I walked into my robe and tried to get changed, I was jumping around then stood on the dress and fell. But Curtis caught me.
" how long have you been watching?" I asked. He helped me up and got my dress on.
" the whole time" he laughed. So I punch him in the arm. " oww. So your dad send me to tell you to prepare a speak to tell all the princes, about us" he said it very proudly.
" ok. Oh and now we are going to pick out what you are wearing." I giggled and jumpers around." Oh look. Ruby wear this" I found a small tiara and put it on her head.
" no way" she screeched.
"She looks like she hates it" laughed Curtis.
" well to bad" I said." Let's go eat I'm hungry and then we can go and See what your gonna wear" Curtis flew us down and we went and had lunch.
" hey girl. How are you?" Jackson said as he hugged me.
" I'm great now and guess what?" I said excitedly.
" you told your dad about you and Curtis and he has approved and now you have to make a speech telling the other princes you found another" blurted Ryan. We all looked at him.
" what?" He whined.
" you need to let her tell you don't just blurt out important stuff" huffed Jackson.
" hey its ok. How did you know that any way?" I asked.
" I do my research, oh and here. It's a gift from us" Jackson handed me a small box and it was rapped in paper bark.
" aww thank you" I hugged him.
" open it" hushed Stuart. I ripped it apart and everyone started laughing. Inside there was a metal glove that fit perfectly, and there was also a glowing love heart necklace. I put my hand to my chest and had my mouth open.
" thank you Jackson" I hugged him. Stuart and Ryan coughed. " and you too. Come here" I hugged them and went back to Curtis.
" your welcome" he said as he opened his arms.
" oh you too." I laughed and hugged him. Some Angels flew over us and we're chasing after each other.
" oh hey How are your wings?" Asked Jackson. Omg yea it's been long enough.
