" what?" I said. I was now standing over Curtis and so was Ruby.
" I never went in! It was on of your friends put under a spell " he laughed. I shot an arrow at him and Ruby launched towards him. I got him in the leg and Ruby knocked him to the ground. I ran over to him and aim at his head.
" don't move or I will kill you" I said. But he laughed.
" no offense Princess but you will never kill anyone." He laughed.
" with you I gladly will" I growled. He laughed and started to move. I backed off a bit and stopped.
"Ok then killed me!" He looked at me and smiled. I aimed and held it there. I lowered it but tightened it again. I didn't this for about five minutes. With a huff I closed my eyes and tightened my bow. I heard something and opened my eyes. There was an arrow in his head, I was shocked I couldn't breathe and stepped away. Ruby was looking at me. I tripped and fell to the ground. I looked back at Curtis and he had cuts all over his him. His clothes was ripped and he was holding his bow.
" I'm so sorry you had to see that" he walked over to me, but I got up and ran to him. I cried in his shoulder, I was so happy he was ok, then I heard a ear bursting scream. We looked behind us and saw monique holding Draco.
" HOW COULD YOU!!" She screamed " I LOVE HIM and he loved me. Don't worry baby poo I will avenge your death." She kissed his head and stood up. She got up and wiped away a tear.
" YOU!" She said as she pointed at me.
" me or her" said Curtis. He readied his bowed and I did too.
" do not come any closer monique. Or else!" She stopped. As she flew off she screamed.
" I WILL GET MY REVENGE. You have been" she flew away to fast and her love heart undies didn't help the seriousness of the encounter.
" hey are you ok?" I asked as I turned to Curtis and wiped his face.
" yea I'm fine just sore." He laughed.
" come on let's take you to Phil." We flew off. Phil made me and Ruby wait outside.
" hey Jessica I was thinking about attacks we could do. There's this one where, we are both flying in the air and then we go spiraling down and just before we hit the ground we stop and a giant dust cloud comes around us and the we shot every one as the cloud disappears." She hummed " It's complicated" said Ruby.
" actually that's pretty cool." I said as I played with my necklace. " so what dose this... Wait. Ruby LOOK!. It's green now." I stood up" is it suppose to do that?" I tried to pick Ruby up but she was to big.
" yes. You have completed the first step. When your ready it will be red." Ruby picked me up and put me on her head. I started laughing.
" what you laughing at ?" She sassed.
" your haha so haha fluffy." I laughed, and got comfy.
" ok haha so funny." She laid down and I almost fell off. I laid on my back with me head down her face.
" so what will happen when I get to red?" I asked.
" I don't know. I got told that no one have been able to pass it." She grumbled. It was getting late. " but I know you will" I smiled and crawled to the top of her head and fell asleep.
" JESSICA!!" Shouted someone. We both jumped and I fell down.
" ahh. No need to.. Oh dad what are you doing here?" I got up and hugged him.
" I came to see how you were going. And I've been calling your name for a while now." He said helping me up.
" oh sorry" I replied.
" so why are you waiting out here?" He asked.
" I was waiting for Curtis" I said pointing to the door.
" what happened?" My dad looked at me with worry in his eyes.
" we got attacked by Draco, again, but we are fine. Curtis just has a few scratches that's all." I said. My dad huffed and looked up.
" oh I have this for you" he grabbed a medium sized box from his bag." It's from your mother, she had a meeting today so she couldn't come but she defiantly is next week ok." He gave me the box.
" tell her I said thank you. Oh and dad watch this" I stood back and said." Ruby fly" she shot up into air and grabbed me. We flew around my dad.
" that is pretty cool." I showed my dad around for about an hour, to then find out he already knows where to go. I introduced him to Jackson and Ryan, and all my other friends,
" ok Jessica I need to go before it gets dark, I will see you in two weeks but remember your mother is coming next week ok." I hugged and kissed my dad goodbye.
" ok no lets go find Curtis Ruby and then we can open this box!" I flew around and found Curtis. He was in a hurry rushing around trying to get everything ready.
" what are you getting ready for?" I asked.
" do you remember the beast that blew fire?" He said.
" Yes, what about it?" I replied.
" well we found it traveling back home and found where Dracos home is. It's about a 2 days trip there, so we were thinking of attacking while they are vulnerable" he said. It was hard for me to keep up with him.
" can I come?" I said. He stopped what he was doing and looked at me.
" I don't want you to get hurt and ..."
" no," I cut him off " I am coming I want to be the one to kill Monique!" I said. Curtis looked at me and smiled,
" ok, meet me at the training area in two hours, ok?" He said. I nodded and ran off.
" Ruby lets go get you some armor ok." I asked and she screeched.
