"Inebriate |iˈnēbrēˌāt| verb (often as adj. inebriated) - drunk; intoxicated. ORIGIN late Middle English (as an adjective): from Latin inebriatus, past participle of inebriare 'intoxicate' (based on ebrius 'drunk')."

My heart is already pumping faster than it usually does. Thank God, I can still compose myself before the main event.

Will I do all right? Kailangan.
Will I be able to move up there? I must.
Will I sing finely for Betty? I have to.

For Bets. Hindi ako mapipiyok. Kakayin ko 'to. Aja!

We left the restaurant and went directly to the club.

"Kasalanan mo 'to! Ganun na pala ang plano pero wala ka man lang sinabi sakin!" I scowled at him.

"You deserve this. You should be listening in the first place. Besides, I've always dreamed of seeing you go daring. Witwiw! Kristina on the roll!" He answered teasing. May extrang sipol pa. This conversation is going nowhere.

"Whatever. Maghintay ka mamaya."

I don't know what I exactly mean by that. But I'm sure doing this is much harder than giving a case presentation. Probably ten times harder. I really need an external push.

My heartbeat became irregular again as we parked in front of an unfamiliar place. This might be the club.

Okay, calm down, Yna, kaya mo 'to.

"Here we are! Time to get out." Sam exclaimed as he unbuckled his seatbelt then mine and opened the door on my side.

"Uh. Oh!" I responded as I went down his car. I'm not shocked. But I don't know what else to say. Oohh, ang dami namang nakapila. Sikat siguro 'tong club na'to? Bakit dito pa?

"I'm nervous." He probably didn't hear it as he turned to see another car parked beside his.

I know it is Jerome. He stepped out Betty's car with a huge smile painted on his face.

"Let's go, Yna girl! It's time for your makeover." Jerome already grabbed my hand before I could comply.

We passed the people in queue and went inside until the back of the club. He brought me to room with a big walk-in closet and walls with whole body mirrors. This is probably the dressing room. Madami ding nakakalat na wigs, make up sets and the likes. Sa isang dulo naman ay isang sofa set na kasya ang apat na tao pag nakaupo with a bathroom door across it.

"Yna, just sit here and let me do the rest." Jerome brought me to sit sa isang maliit na upuan sa harap ng table na malapit sa gilid ng wall mirror.

"Rome!" Biglang bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Tintin. "Oh, there you two are. All set na! Si Yna na lang ang kulang." Tintin then gave me a playful smile.

"Okay, okay. Hindi na kailangan ni Yna ng makapal na make-up kaya konting ayos na lang 'to." Jerome answered while searching for something in the closet.

"Tada! It will surely look good in you girl." He turned and showed me the dress he's proudly holding.

"Uhm. Hindi ba sobrang ikli nyan, Rome? Tsaka parang see-through pa." I said as I carefully examined the details of the metallic silver dress.
