Someone save me! (A Colby Brock story)

Chapter 11

        It has been 6 months since my father showed up. Today we are having Sam go to our house to see if he is gone.
         "Call me if anything happens." Colby said to Sam.
          "Ight man see ya later." Sam replied.
       Sam has been gone for almost an hour and 30. We are starting to get nervous.
       It's 11:49am when we hear a car pull in I grab Payton and and we all run out.
      "So he is in jail for now it will be a while till he gets out so you guys are free to go." Sam smiled.
       I pulled him into a hug and thanked him for everything. We all went inside and ate lunch. When we finished we grabbed our bags and went to the truck.
         We soon arrived at our place. Sam dropped up off. We walked up to the door but it was locked so Colby went around to Payton's room window where we escaped. He claimed through and opened the door for us.

One week later

   Tomorrow is Payton 1st birthday. She has been such a great baby. But today Colby asked me out on a date. We are going to our favorite restaurant Applebee's. It's not fancy but after we are going to see a movie.
         It is an hour before we are leaving so I took a quick shower, put on a little bit of mascara and curled the ends of my hair. For my outfit I put on army green skinny jeans, a black t-shirt, a camo vest over the shirt, and my black vans.
        I walked down stairs and Colby was waiting by the door. He was wearing a black shirt, black beanie, jeans, and black vans.
       We locked arms and he walked me to my door and opened it for me. I smiled and he got in the car.
      We finally got to the restaurant.
      "How many?" Asked the waiter.
"Just two." Colby replied.
     "Right this way." He said and we followed.
      Colby pushed in my seat for me then we ordered.
     The food was great. Dessert time!
  We shared a ice-cream. We were half way done with it when Colby had set something on the table, and grabbed my hand.
      "Oh my god." I said under my breath.
"Bao Amherst will you do me the honor in being my wife?" He asked.
"Of course!" I said with excitement.
I jumped out of my seat and cm gave him a big hug and a kiss. He grabbed my hand and placed the ring on. It was beautiful.
        After we watched The Longest Ride we went home. We were laying in bed when he asked
    "Do you want to buy a house in the suburbs near the school?"
      "I would love to." I replied.
  ...
     I woke up the next morning and Colby had Payton on our bed and he was looking on his iPhone.
     Payton saw me and smiled and crawled over to me. I laid her on top of me and gave her a kiss and then started to tickle her. She had the cutest laugh.
    "Happy birthday baby girl." She smiled and pointed at me.
    " mama." She said. Wait she said mama.
     "Colby she said her first word!" I yelled. We stood up and danced around it was a big deal!
    " hey babe, what do you think about this house?" He asked.
     "It's beautiful." I replied.
    He quickly called the owner.
" he said we can check it out tomorrow around noon."
" ok." I replied.'
...
It was time for her party so we all got ready I put a little green polka dot dress, white flats, and a green bow on Payton, and I wore a blue sundress with white flats, with curled hair and I pinned one side back. We came down stairs and Colby was setting up, he had shorts and a blue t-shirt on with vans.
      The first one to show up was my brother Walker. Then soon after Finley and Cadence came in, and soon there parent Lucienne Strotton (Cadence's mom) and Colby's mom Gianna showed up.
       Then the biggest shock came through the gate Clara Carmichael and James Verbeek. They came up to us and were so nice, like everything that happened in high school didn't exist.
         The party was a blast! We danced, had karaoke, and yummy food. After we tucked Payton in we were walking to the fireplace when I was embraced and pulled into the water.  I have never screamed so loud!
        "Hahahaha" Colby was laughing.
    "What the heck is wrong with you!" I yelled not realizing it was him.
       He pulled me into his embrace, "I'm sorry babe, I just wanted to go for a swim with you." He said and started laughing.
    "Whatever." I said jokingly and wrapped my arms and legs around him, giving him a big kiss.
        "Are we in the middle of something?" Cadence asked while she was silently laughing.
I started to explain "Oh, um, no."- "Yes!" Colby jumped in.-" no your not. Where are you all going?" I asked.
     They all said either home, or to go to bed. Except for Walker who was staying the night he said the couch. At these times I wish we had a spare bedroom.
