The dim hallway outside Jungkook’s dorm was quiet except for Yoojin’s soft whining.
"Do you really have to go?" she whined, arms folded as she leaned against the doorframe. Her voice had a slight tremble, as if the thought of being without him for a few days was unbearable.
Jungkook sighed, shifting his bag on his shoulder. "Yoojin, we’ve talked about this."
"But it’s not fair," she mumbled, stepping closer. "You’re leaving me here all alone."
"You won’t be alone," he said, his tone gentler now. "You have your friends, and it’s just a a day. I’ll be back before you know it."
Yoojin still didn’t look convinced. "But what if I miss you?"
Jungkook sighed with a small unnoticeable smile, "Then I'll miss you too. That's allowed, isn't it?"
Yoojin blinked at the response—almost satisfied, almost not.
Just as she was about to say something else, the sound of rolling suitcase wheels echoed down the hallway.
Taehyung and Jimin strolled up with their bags in tow, their expressions already amused as they took in the scene.
"Wow," Taehyung muttered. "This is so dramatic."
Jimin smirked. "She’s acting like you’re off to war, not a school trip."
Yoojin turned sharply, glaring. "Mind your own business."
Jimin put his hands up in mock surrender. "Hey, hey, no need to bite my head off."
Taehyung grinned, nudging Jungkook. "Bro, you sure you’re coming with us? She might actually tie you to a chair if you try to leave."
Jungkook chuckled under his breath, shaking his head. "You guys are making it worse."
Yoojin huffed, crossing her arms. "Jungkook, tell them to stop."
Jungkook sighed, giving her a light squeeze on the arm. "Ignore them," he said softly.
Her expression faltered slightly, but she nodded. "Fine."
Then, as if making up her mind, she suddenly leaned in and hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest.
Jungkook stiffened for a second before wrapping an arm around her, his touch reassuring. "I’ll be back soon."
Behind them, Jimin and Taehyung exchanged a glance.
"This is so unnecessary," Taehyung whispered.
"Painful to watch," Jimin muttered back.
Jungkook shot them a warning glare over Yoojin’s shoulder, and they immediately shut up—well, mostly.
Yoojin pulled away slightly, peering up at him. "Just… stay away from that wicked witch while you're there."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Wicked witch?"
Jimin smirked. "Who, exactly?"
Yoojin scoffed as if the answer was obvious. "Chaeng."
Jimin and Taehyung exchanged glances, then burst into laughter.
"Oh, this is gonna be fun," Taehyung mused.
Jimin shook his head, grinning. "Yeah, very fun."
Jungkook, however, wasn’t amused. He let out a slow breath, his grip on his suitcase tightening as he forced a neutral expression. "I should get going."
Yoojin gave him one last pout before reluctantly stepping back. "Fine. But don’t forget what I said."
Jungkook didn’t respond. Instead, he turned, rolling his suitcase behind him as Jimin and Taehyung followed—both still grinning like they knew something he didn’t.
