Chapter 22: Short, Fast and Loud

"Did you get another letter from your mom again?"

"Yeah, she just doesn't understand that I'm not going to reply."

"Maybe you should I mean she's your mom, you can't be mad at her forever."

"Ryan, I'm at boarding school in Europe because of her."

"Don't tell me your not liking France."

"It's really hard to when I'm stuck all the time in these four walls. Just think in six more months I'll be eighteen and I can finally go back to America" I said.

"Are you still thinking about that Pete Wentz guy?"

"I don't think I'll ever forget him."

"It's been almost two years Patrick, What if he has moved on and regrets giving up his freedom for some kid."

"Pete isn't like that."

"Okay if you say so. Now let's go I think I just heard the dinner bell ring" he says.
