Honestly I didn't really know why Spencer or Joe had to go up there, they really didn't know anything about my relationship with Pete and they never said anything to me like Brendon did.
"Mr. Smith, how did you meet Patrick Stump?"
"Brendon introduced us."
"So you been friends, just about the same time Brendon Urie was."
"Yeah, I really don't remember."
"How would you describe you friendship with Patrick Stump?"
"We're great friends, we get along well, and we are both best friends of Brendon."
"Both best friends, tell me was there ever a time you were jealous of Stump?"
"Jealous, Why would I be jealous of Patrick?"
"Well It's hard for someone to have two best friends and not like one more then the other."
"I know exactly what kind of friendship me and Brendon had, just as well with Patrick... Besides I don't know what this has to do with the case."
"Your right, I guess I was getting of topic, I apologize. Anyway it says here you had Mr.Wentz as your English teacher for third period."
"Yeah, Mr. Wentz was also my English teacher."
"What do you think about Mr. Wentz?"
"He's a good teacher, I never really had problems in his class."
"How much did you interact with Wentz?"
"Not much, I would only ask help with in assignment if I really needed it."
"Okay, then did you know anything or suspect about Stump and Wentz."
"Nope, like I said before I know nothing and really don't understand why I'm up here, if I can't help on this case."
"Very well then just one last question. What was your reaction when you found out about all this?"
"I really didn't have much of a reaction, I did not freak out like most of the people here in the court room... you know I was glad Pete and Patrick were together and it's to bad all this had to happen to them."
"Thank you Mr. Smith that's all."
Spencer got off the stand and went to go sit back down, he looked at me and smiled. I smiled back I'm glad I had a friend like him.
The court decided to take a ten minute recess, we all went out of the court room.
"Man, I'm so glad to be out of there at least for a little while" Brendon says.
"Yeah, you said it I'm so glad I'm done with my testimony" Spencer says.
"Yup" I said. "And then Joe has to go up there next."
"Ah, don't remind me" Joe says.
"How are you holding up Patrick?"
"I'm okay, I'm glad you guys are here actually."
"Of course we wouldn't leave you alone even if we didn't have to testify" Brendon says.
"Thanks for everything guys."
"Don't sweat it, although I know you Patrick, what's really bothering you?" Joe asked.
I shook my head. "Pete. I mean I haven't seen him since his arrest and I want to know if he's okay."
"Now that you mention it, shouldn't the defendant be in the court?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah, but I don't know what happening anymore, What if they don't bring him out and I have to visit him till I'm eighteen because my mother won't let me because I'm underage...."
"Whoa, calm down Patrick we don't know if they'll bring him out later and they haven't sentenced him yet."
"Yeah your right Brendon, I'm just so stressed."
"You guys, it's time to go back in" Joe says.
