One can only wish and fantasize. Freddie would have been thrilled, he was such a royalist. This chapter is basically about Carolyn, it is a set-up chapter. We can't always be talking   about Freddie or  can we?  Well, I guess I know that answer.

Carolyn's POV

I woke up feeling energized. It was quite thrilling speaking to Parliment and I'm waiting for condemnation from my father. After all, in his mind I'm only female and what right did I have to address the House of Commons? He is so far ingrained in the past that he doesn't understand the world as it is today. Aside from the financial sector we are still losing the population to surrounding countries where the cost of living is more affordable. That's what I want to talk to cousin Elizabeth about. Just in case you are wondering who my cousin is, well she's the Queen of England-Eizabeth II.

Now where is that's number for The Lord Chamberlain, I know I have it, let's see. Ah, Earl Peel, so it is. Good, no one is in the kitchen, I'll call now without nosy Freddie or everseeing and hearing Peter Freestone. Hmm, 44 303-123-7300.

"Hello, this is Princess Carolyn of Luxenbourgh, may I speak with Lord Chamberlain or leave a message? Yes, thank you. The number is 44xxx-xxx-xxxx. It's a very private number, please only give it to the Earl. Thank you. Good bye."

Freddie walked into the kitchen looking as if he had just stepped out of a GQ layout. Showered, shaved and dressed in his tight white wranglers leaving nothing to the most naughtiest of imaginations. But what baffled me was his choice of tee shirt. There he was, resplendent in dress but wearing a baby blue tee-shirt with the words American princess inscribed, strange. But Freddie doesn't subscribed to the norm.

Phoebe handed him his morning cup of tea. It actually was his second cup. He usually has his morning tea placed beside his bed, precisely at 9:00 AM every morning no matter what time he gets up Phoebe once explained to me.

"Freddie! What on earth is that?" cried Carolyn pointing, and then falling into a convulsive laughter."I mean," giggle, "I mean, ha ha ha ha, I just spit my tea out."

Freddie red faced said, "What are you on about?"

"That!" snorted the princess as she pointed.

Puzzled, Freddie looked down towards his hand and saw that it was his tiny mustache comb.

"Hey, I'll have you know that this comb is sterling silver and from Tiffanys." Freddie boasted, obviously piqued by being made fun of and pocketed his precious comb.

Still reeling with laughter, Carolyn cried out,"It looks like a toy"

"I'll give you a toy" yelled Freddie as he chased her around the kitchen.

Carolyn was still laughing as Freddie caught her from the back. He spun her around and as they stared at each other's eyes, they both continued laughing as Phoebe backed out of the kitchen leaving them alone to perhaps find themselves.

Freddie's arms slowly wrapped around her waist as he drew her towards him she crossed her hands behind his neck and as they leaned in towards each other Freddie pressed even harder caressing her back and drawing his fingers up and down her arms. Carolyn could feel the change taking place as she felt his hardness press against her. They leaned in together for the welcoming kiss when the telephone rang.

Phoebe entered the kitchen to answer the phone and they jumped apart.

"Hello" Phoebe said "Oh! Yes, yes, she's here. One second your Lordship, I'll get her."

"Carolyn, it's for you" said Phoebe

"Hello. Yes this is she. Well, thank you and you? That's wonderful Lord Peel, then I shall see you later. Good bye."
