Kendra- "sushi?"

After we had drove off, nick made me close my eyes when we were near the restaurant. I love sushi , but Im not sure if he does . When we arrived, Nick had a private room with a table for two and candle lighting . It was perfect.

Nick- "yeah.. I know that you like sushi so I thought why not."

Kendra- "but do you even like sushi? I mean you never said that you did ."

Nick- "sushi is all right, but I don't want any for tonight." I laughed.

Kendra- "Nick, I hope you know that the only thing you can get at a sushi restaurant is sushi." He smirked.

Nick- "Well I thought ahead and ordered asked the chefs to make me some sizzling steak and white rice."

Kendra- "wow, Nicholas. You're ahead of the game rent you?"

Nick- "of course ."

Our converrsation is interrupted by a waitress that's about our age . She sees nick and ignores me like I'm not there.

Waitress- "hello there." She greeted. "What can I get you tonight?"

Nick- "sizzling steak and white rice with red wine." Nick is obviously oblivious to the fact that this girl is all over him .

Waitress- "will that be all?" She asks looking at nick with flirtatious eyes. I clear my throat.

Kendra- "Excuse me." She turns around and looks at me in surprise. I guess she was too busy flirting with Nick , she never noticed I was there.

I gave her my order and she went to the back. I scoffed as I played with the napkins.

Nick- "what?" He asks confused.

Kendra- "she was just flirting with you and acted like she didn't even see me here. I know she sees the candles and everything. Come on now."

Nick- "Kendra, I wasn't even paying attention to her to know that she was trying to flirt with me. I'm on a date with you so you don't have to worry about anything." I sighed in defeat.

Kendra- "yeah, I know that. But that is just so disrespectful. I mean-"

Waitress- "here you go" she sits Nick's plate in front of him and does he same for me. "Anything else you need"

Kendra- "no, we're good. Thanks!" She looked at me and I motioned her to leave. "UGHHH, could she be even more clueless?"

Nick laughed while putting a bite of steak into his mouth. And I start eating my food.

Kendra- "what? She can't just flirt with my boyfriend without getting attitude from me . Seriously." Nick nodded and there was an amused smirk on his mouth while he chewed. I ignored it and continued eating.

After 10 minutes of talking aimlessly and eating. Nick grabbed my hand that was sitting on table and rubbed it lightly with his thumb.

Nick- "Kendra, I have to tell you something." He looked flustered like he didn't want to say it but he had to. Obviously feeling like what he is about to say might be something bad, I put my attention to him.

Kendra- "what is it?" He looked me in the eyes and just held his gaze .

Nick- "you know earlier when I got a call from my cousin Giana?"

Kendra- "yeah.... What about it?" He took a deep breath and looked down at the table.

Kendra- "no Nick." I said reaching to lift his eyes up to look at me. He had tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?"

Nick- "I ..... I .. Ughhhh!" He let out a frustrated sigh. "Why is this so hard for me to say?" He asked more to himself than to me.

Kendra- "Nick, you're scaring me now .. What is it?"

Nick-"me and my brothers have a tour out of the country and fundraisers to do". I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

Kendra- "oh nick thats great. There's nothing bad about that." I reassured him.

Nick- "no kendra... I'm not going to be able to see you for four months . "

Kendra- "four months?" I repeated in a low voice. I felt like I couldn't breath. After being with him every day I wasn't ready to let him go. Four months. Four. That's a long time.

Nick- "Kendra I don't want to go .. But I have to . You could come with me and we won't have to face a long distance relationship . I already asked my mom and dad and they said it would be okay. I'm falling for you and I don't want tour or fundraising to interfere with what we have ... Kendra say something."

I felt like I couldn't breath. After being with him every day I wasn't ready to let him go. Four months. Four. That's a long time.

Kendra- "I can't."

Nick- "you can't what?"

Kendra- "I can't go with you."

Nick- "what? Why not?"

Kendra- "I have school. I'm a senior and in exactly four months , I'll be graduating then I'll be going to Paris after."

Nick- "you can get homeschooled"

Kendra- "no Nick. It's not the same. I'll miss my friends, my grandma, and Chicago. I can't just drop everything... When do you leave?" He hesitated

Kendra- "Nick, when do you leave?" I asked a little louder.

Nick- "Tomorrow night." I gasped as those words came out his mouth. Tomorrow night? This can't be happening.. We just got back together and now this . I was lost in my thoughts when nick got up from his seat and hugged me tightly . That's when I felt the tears on my cheeks. I hadn't even realized I started to cry. I gave in and sobbed into Nick's chest.

Nick's POV

Nick- "Tomorrow night." She gasped and then there was silence . Her eyes started to water and I rushed to her side of the table and pulled her out of her chair, hugging her tightly. She sobbed into my chest.

It hurts me so much that I have to leave tomorrow and hurts more since she doesn't want to go with me. But I understand why. We were getting something good and now it had to go on hold because of jonas brothers things. Why did my life have to be so complicated.

I rubbed her back soothingly to calm her down. After the sobbing, I pulled back and looked at her. Tears still running down her face.

Nick- "Let's go home." She nodded and I reached in my pocket putting a $100 dollar bill on the table.

I put my arm around her waist and she put her face in my shoulder as we walked out of the restaurant to the car . I put her in the car and went to my side. We drove in silence.
