I was cheering them on as they came on stage. Taking Ricky's presence to my advantage, I asked him to put me on his shoulders so I could be in arms reach of them. I was on Nick'a side of the stage. When our eyes met, I felt something . They were slinging turn right . When Joe's solo came along he walked over to me, still playing the guitar.

Nick- "Glad you could make it!" He said over all the screaming fans and hurried over back to the mic before his cue came. I smiled really had as I looked down at Ricky. He looked confused , and I shrugged. I was actually confused myself.

By the time three or four songs Joe Nick and Kevin had passed by and touched my hand and grinning. I'm guessing they remembered me from the meet and greet. But , that couldn't have been possible, right? They have millions of fans that they see everyday. They couldn't have remembered lil ole me. I was special enough to be remembered out of ALL their fans.

The concert was on its way to its closing. It had been three hours of them singing and fans screaming. They decided to play one last song.

Joe- "Well, Chicago. Before we go, we've got one last song for you."

Nick sat at the piano and our eyes met before he put his attention on the piano.

Nick- "You know sometimes life brings out its complications and some hardships, but you know, it's how we deal with them that counts.

"And I know that each and every single one of you in this audience tonight have been through a hard time in your life before, right? I know that each and every one of you have felt, at one point, like you couldn't go on. But then you found hope. There's always some way to find hope. Remember that..

"..There was a time in my life when I got diagnosed with diabetes, and I thought that I'm not gonna be able to live my dream, getting to do what I wanna do. That was three years ago. And I can say, today, that I played for 12,000 people in Chicago.

"That happened 'cause I found hope. How many of you people in this audience tonight need to find hope? How many of you need to find a friend? And how many of you need to feel some peace? Well like I said, that's what this song is about.

"And tonight, this song- this song is for you. This song is for every broken heart? tonight, and for every broken dream, for every high and for every low. Don't ever forget it. Now, what I want you to do now is, if you know the words to this song, I want you to sing with all your heart and with all your soul.

"'Cause something happens when 12,000 people in Chicago come together and sing a song Alright? Now this song is for this generation, and this generation is gonna sing it out"

Nick- "Got the news today.."

I felt tears build up in me as he began to sing the beginning lyrics to 'A Little Bit Longer'. I remembered as his smooth voice sung the lyrics to the most powerful song I had ever known. The tears fell when he got really into it and got up from the piano showing the true emotions he got out of the song. It meant a lot to him , and every time he sung it he wanted people to remember it.

Kevin and Joe sung in unison with him as he sung the chorus. At the end of the song. Kevin spoke as Nick got some water.

Kevin- "Thank you for having us Chicago ! " he threw his guitar pick into the crowd, and a catfight started.

Joe- " How did you guys like the show ?" Everyone screamed. "Niceeeee." He said replying to our screams. "Nick take it away.

Nick- "Chicago it's been fun! Hope you enjoyed the show . WE LOVE YOU!!" He looked at me before going off stage with his brothers. He walked to the front of the stage right in front of me and held his hand out. "Come with me." He said. I looked down at Ricky, then took Nick's hand. I mouthed the word "Meet me outside" to him before disappearing backstage with Nick in hand.
