I came out of the mansion, the mansion was transformed into a riot of colors. The air buzzed with excitement, laughter, and the distant beat of dhols. Holi. A festival of colors, fun, and celebration. But for me? This year, it was about enjoy without my newly wed husband. Fuck.
I saw Aarav and Arushi approaching towards me.
I adjusted my dupatta, smirking as I glanced at Aarav and Arushi. "Everything’s set?"
Arushi winked. "The thandai is ready, Bhabhi "
"Are you sure about this, Bhabhi?" Aarav leaned in, trying to suppress his grin. "This could get... messy."
I shrugged, feigning innocence. "Oh, come on, Aarav. It’s Holi. What’s a little fun without some chaos?"

Aarav chuckled. "Hope you know what you’re doing, Bhabhi"
" It's holi everything is fair in love and holi" I said with a smirk.
But Adhiraj.
He left without a word. Now he wanted to check in? Too late.
I pushed the thought aside as my family arrived.
" Happy holi!" Abeer Bhaiya grinned, throwing an arm around me. "I hope you haven’t planned anything crazy this year."
I gave him my most innocent look. "Me? Bhaiya, when have I ever done anything crazy?"
Ridhima scoffed. "Oh please Di, last time you put red color in my shampoo."
I laughed. "That was years ago!"
Mom shook her head. “Just behave today, Priya.”
No promises.
Then, Sidharth bhai walked in, his usual smirk in place. His eyes scanned my face as if reading something. "Where’s your husband, Mrs. Rathore?"
My smile tightened. "Busy."
He raised a brow but didn’t push.
Kavya ran up to me, wrapping me in a hug. "Happy Holi, babes!" She pulled back, narrowing her eyes. "Wait. Why do you look like you’re plotting something?"
