Adhiraj's POV

The jet landed smoothly on the private airstrip, but my mind was far from calm.

Priya hadn't answered my calls. Not once.

I ran a hand through my hair, my jaw tightening. Guilt twisted inside me, but anger burned alongside it. I knew she was upset that I missed Holi, but ignoring my calls? Avoiding me completely? That was unlike her.

I stepped into the car, barking at the driver, "Ghar chalo. Jaldi."

The ride back felt painfully slow, every second stretching my patience thinner. I clenched my fists. Would she even talk to me when I got there? Or would she just keep avoiding me?

As the car pulled up to the Rathore mansion, the sight before me made my irritation spike even further.

It was absolute chaos.

The entire garden looked like a battlefield of colors. People were sprawled across the grass, drenched in hues of pink, blue, and red. Some were singing-badly. Others were laughing hysterically at things that didn't even make sense.

And in the middle of it all-Priya.

Barefoot, covered head to toe in colors, her hair messy, her face flushed.

Laughing.

Like she hadn't just ignored me for the past two days.

My jaw ticked as I saw Ayush applying colour on her face.

But before I could do anything, Aarav, looking completely wasted, spotted me. His face broke into a wide grin, and he staggered towards me.

"Bhaiyaaaaa!!!" he shouted. "Aap aa gaye!"

Before I could react, he stumbled forward, throwing his arms around me.

I stiffened. "Aarav-"

The strong smell of bhang hit me.

I narrowed my eyes. "Tumne bhang pi hai?"

Aarav blinked at me, as if processing my words. Then, he grinned. "Nahi toh-"

Before he could finish, Ayush appeared behind him, laughing like a madman. "Aree, Adhiraj! Bohot late!"

And then-Abhimaan stumbled up to me, completely drunk. He threw an arm over my shoulder.

"Bhaiya aap samajhte nahi," he slurred, looking dramatically emotional. "Holi bina bhang ke adhuri hoti hai. Isiliye... Bhabhi ne..." He suddenly clamped a hand over his mouth, eyes widening like he had spilled a big secret.

I stiffened. My gaze snapped to Priya.

She stood there, arms crossed, watching us with amusement.

"Priya," I said, my voice dangerously calm. "Kya kiya tumne?"

She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head. "Maine? Kuch bhi toh nahi."

Her casual tone only fueled my irritation.

I took a step closer, my voice dropping lower. "Mujhe mat ghumao, Priya. Yeh sab kya hai?"

She gave me a slow, mischievous smile. "Bas... ek chhoti si Holi ki masti."

Aarav, still clinging to me, suddenly blurted, "Bhabhi ne thandai banayi thi! Special waali!"

I stilled. My gaze darkened.
