Priya's Pov.

The moment Yamini Bua swayed on her feet and collapsed onto the cushion, the entire family burst into laughter.

Tejpratap Dada Sa shook his head, barely holding back his amusement. "Aaj toh tumne kamaal kar diya, Priya!"

I smirked, wiping the color off my hands. "Bas thodi si mehnat ki hai, Dada Sa!"

Ayush, ever the instigator, threw an arm around Aarav's shoulder. "Tujhe lagta hai tu bacha hai, Aarav? Nahi re... ab tu bhi bhang piyega!"

Aarav's eyes widened. "Nahi bhai, main theek hoon-"

Too late. Rudra forcefully tilted the glass to Aarav's lips, making him gulp it down in seconds. Arushi shrieked, trying to run, but Rudra caught her too.

"Mujhe mat pilao! Mujhe sab yaad rehta hai!" Arushi protested, but Rudra only grinned evilly.

"Aaj nahi, Arushi bitiya!" Ayush said before making her drink.

The family howled with laughter, watching both of them stumble after a few seconds.

And then-Abeer bhaiya turned to me.

His grin was wicked.

"Ab teri baari, Priya!"

My eyes narrowed. "Bhaiya, nahi-"

But he was faster.

Before I could escape, he had already tipped the glass against my lips.

"Bhaiya, tum khud peene ke baad mujhe-" I gasped between sips, but Abeer only laughed.

"Aree, Holi pe sab chalta hai!" he declared before taking another long drink himself.

I glared at him before wiping my mouth. "Tum toh gaya, Abeer bhaiya!"

He only grinned drunkenly. "Jo bhi ho, par aaj sabko Holi ke rangon ke saath bhang ka bhi maza lena tha!"

I shook my head, already feeling the slight buzz from the drink. The colors around me seemed brighter, the laughter louder.

And Yamini Bua?

She was completely gone.

Her eyes were barely open, her mouth moving but no words coming out.

Then, she collapsed back onto the cushion, unconscious.

For a moment, silence.

And then-everyone roared with laughter.

Even Dada Sa was clutching his stomach. "Priya, beta... Yeh toh kamaal ho gaya!"

Dadi wiped tears of laughter from her eyes. "Bichari Yamini... pehli baar chup ho gayi!" I brust into laugh.

I went near the dj, " Yeh wale babu mera gaana chala toh"

The moment the first beats of "Balam Pichkari" blasted through the speakers, chaos erupted.

Aarav, completely sloshed, grabbed a handful of colors and smeared them all over Rudra's face before sprinting away like his life depended on it.

"Abe ruk! Tujhe toh main-" Ayush roared, launching himself at Aarav, but in his drunken state, he missed-and crashed straight into Abhimaan.
