4. Something pretending to be Human

The sounds of sizzling filled the kitchen as Time cooked up dinner. Time was thinking of all the stuff that had happened recently, Dark and darkness was gone, the leaders apologized to Sabre, and Elemental was going more off the deep end then he originally was.  

The sound of the front door went off.

"Sabre?" Time yelled out. Sabre walked into the kitchen and sat down. "Hey Time," Sabre smiled. Time shoved a spoon of sauce into his mouth. "Try this, I think it needs more-"

"More what?" Sabre asked as Time went back to cooking. "I'm not going to tell you how many hoops I went through just to get the ingredients for this." Time smiled, setting down a plate of what appeared to be spaghetti. Sabre gasped. "How-" 

"A magician never reveals his secrets." Time smiled, sitting down to have some as well.

Time looked at Sabre. 

...

"Sabre, are you okay, I broke time and space to cook a meal. And you aren't saying anything." Time asked, setting down his utensil. Sabre stops eating for a moment. "Do you want me to say something?" 

"Well by now I figured that you'd say: "Thank you so much Time for staying by my side-" or some other Sabre thing before we're interrupted by something or someone." Time said, adding a dramatic flair to his words. Sabre laughed.

"It's just, I have a lot on my mind." Sabre said, continuing to chow down on the food. "I missed this," Sabre whispered. 

"I made you breakfast this morning- Oh do you mean the food?" Time smiled. Sabre laughed nervously. "Yeah! Yeah, this, I missed this."  Sabre smiled. "Is there anymore-" 

"No, I only made enough for us." Time said, as he finished his meal. "Oh," Sabre said, setting aside his plate. "I think i'll finish this later then" He smiled. 

Time shrugged and set his plate in the sink.

For the next couple of weeks things were like this. Sabre acting weirdly, half eating meals, forgetting important things. At first, Time didn't mind, but nothing was happening. Absolutely nothing. No drama, no evil steve, nada, nothing. That's not like Sabre. He's a magnet of trouble... But Time didn't mind, not at all.

Sabre pushed the plate of steak to the side. 

"I think i'll have the rest later- But thank you Time- I think i'll head to my-" Sabre started, standing up. Time smiled. "And miss some pumpkin pie? Suit yourself." Time said, taking out some pumpkin pie. Sabre sat back down. "Can I have some-" 

"I thought you said you were full." Time asked. Sabre looked at the steak then at Time. "I never said I was full, I said I'll have the rest later-" Sabre explained. Time gave him a smile. "No you're fine, I'll put it away until you're ready." Time smiled, placing it back into the fridge. Sabre gave him a smile before heading upstairs. 

Time watched as he walked upstairs.

He smiled.

Sabre walked downstairs, careful to not make any noises. He swiftly grabbed the rest of his steak and started out the house. 

He made his way to somewhere. 

It was actually in the middle of nowhere. 

Sabre paused in front of a wall, hitting a stone button which opened the wall.

Sabre walked into the hidden building. 

"Sabre! I'm back and because of you I missed out on pumpkin pie." Sabre yelled turning a corner to reveal a cell, with Sabre in it-

"Oh no- whatever will you do- oh wait you have the freedom to go get a new one." Sabre groaned. The free Sabre rolled his eyes. "Elemental, how long do you plan on doing this, you can't keep tricking Time." 

The fake Sabre grabbed a wet cloth and cleared the dye on his face. "God, I just hate this- stupid dye, what did you call it? makeup?" Elemental asked, sliding the plate into the cell. "You didn't answer my question." 

"You know I can stop feeding you for a couple days, right? Stay on my good side." Elemental scoffed. Sabre rolled his eyes. "You can't do this forever Elemental! When Time finds out, and he will, you're going to be in a lot of trouble." 

Elemental punched the bars. 

"I will do as I please."

Sabre looked at him. 

"woah"

"I'm leaving Sabre, have fun with whatever you do when I'm not here." Elemental ended, dyeing his face once more. "How do I look." 

"Ugly- Oh wait..." Sabre mumbled. "Good, that's what I was going for." Elemental smiled, leaving.

Sabre watched as he left. 

"Ugh, stupid Elemental, stupid steak-" Sabre took a bite of the steak before making a sound. "Mmm- I wish it wasn't cold. Still tastes good."

"Thank you, I pride myself on many things cooking is one of them." 

Sabre turned to face the source of the sound.

"Time!" Sabre ran up to the bars. "What are you doing here?" Sabre asked. "Sabre, in no world nothing special doesn't show up in a day of something else special showing up." 

Time opened the cell, letting Sabre out.

"Let's go deal with Elemental, shall we?" Time smiled.

At first I was going to do a darkness thing or another thing that I want say but I might do something with that later, but I thought: I don't want to write another thing with Void in it because that would be 2 in a row.

This was under 900 words, so sorry it was so short
